For newer fans that are wondering why Rv isnt popular as other top gg, you guys have to remember that Rv has always been experimenting with genres and concepts for their comebacks. So it is hard for a casual listener to stick to it, their concepts are not something people can chew easily. It is quirky, fun, but it is somehow artistic. Theyre not just being some "dumb" and "trendy" fun. These kind of concepts make them look more appealing to the loyal fans rather than the public eyes. So it is hard to gain new fans like other girl groups who are trending on KZfaq, Tik tok or etc2. They may not be trending here and there, but you guys gotta admit that whenever rv release something, you guys wont expect it would be THAT music. And you guys wont ever find something similar to Rv music in Kpop. Cause they are THAT experimental. And I think, considering how THEM being not trending, we are actually quite loyal and strong tho. It's not the follow up to Bad Boy. 2) This is the music video for Red Velvet's Japanese debut and mini album release on July 4th in Japan. 3) The lyrics are in Japanese and the concept is very much suited to the Japanese market and Japanese fans. 4) Red Velvet has always had dual concepts. Their Red side is brighter and more playful but always has a slightly sinister element. Their Velvet side, like in Bad Boy, showcases a darker and more mature aspect. 5) Everyone really needs to listen Red Velvet's b-sides for plenty of bops and quality production. ❤️ 6) Let's all keep streaming!

Lil' theory luvs: The RV girls probably got addicted to the sugary patisseries, so they try to recreate the magical thing that was in the cookies. While the four others try to find some sort of secret ingredient for Irene's breeding cauldron (Shoes for Wendy, Plants for Seulgi, Fishes for Joy), Yeri genuinely tries to bake muffins. Therefore, we could believe she is the only who isn't totally under the power of the spell, indeed if you take the scene where Seulgi and Joy sits next each other looking kind of drunk (drunk due to the breed), there is a similar scene, some time after between Irene and Yeri, where Yeri is sleeping. I believe that Irene's role of leader take a double connotation, indeed she was the one who opened the cookie jar, the one who influenced the girl to take more of this drug and the one who 'brought Yeri to sleep'; also we can notice that at the end, when the girls start discovering that their self-made potion didn't work and they actually see that the whole drug was only a mirage, Yeri is the only one which we don't see breaking stuff. To add up to that, this reminded me the 'Rookie' MV, the whole aesthetic of it seems also around drugs, colorful ones that makes your life brighter, in this MV too, we find out at the end that Irene is the one controlling everything from behind the scenes...
