They were still basically brothers, and one thing I learned which interests me is some versions of Snake Eye choose not to speak and others his vocal chords are damaged, so i think that detail is interesting, but his actions speak for him, and people love that mysterious quality about him, this year they are giving him his own movie

He probably conditioned his hands to be tough enough to dent metal, similar to a Shaolin Monk. Also, the integrity of the blade may have also been compromised judging from how often and hard his sword clashed with Snake Eyes's sword. That's just me speculating.

Fenris Not exactly, I remember a famous guy who could stop his heartbeat when he was underwater so he didn't have to breath, so he entered like a coma, and after a lot of minutes underwater, he just went back up to the surface, and if you want serious things when watching a movie or a anime, you are probably on the wrong place or watching the wrong things.

No he just didn't let on that he knew all seven. Let storm shadow use the sixth thinking he has the upper hand and is going to win, then use that self-deception to gain the advantage and deal the decisive final blow with the sixth and seventh kata of the style. Many martial arts use deception as a tool to manipulate their opponents into strategic and exploitable weak positions.

Ben Geiger I am guessing that from a philosophical standpoint, the seventh step is taught to those who value life. With Storm Shadow having no problem with killing other individuals, he would not be able to comprehend what the seventh step truly entailed. If your enemy means to kill you with no sense or real purpose, one must use the seventh step for the sake of survival. Kill or be killed, give your life to someone whom you do not owe a debt, or stop them at that point from committing more travesty outside of the current situation.

Actually, there are a whole ARMY (Cobra) and an elite military unit (G.I. Joe). Storm Shadow and Snake Eyes are just two specific characters that became prominent.

While I prefer Storm Shadow's character in RAH and Sigma 6, Resolute really did good at making him more of a legitimate monster, imo. And Resolute, much like Sigma 6, did really well at capturing what Snake Eyes is thinking through body language.

Now this is is how you do a Ninja duel. In my opinion, this is how Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow should be. I like everything about this, the origin of these ninjas, this duel, the location, the music, the animation, its perfect! This is how GI Joe Origins: Snake Eyes SHOULD have been, And kept with the original story. Personally I think that GI Joe Origins: Snake Eyes sucked! XD that's just my opinion though.

cool animation. But since when do Storm Shadow and Snake eyes have super powers (putting each other through walls?) Storm Shadow was never an evil character. In the original cartoon he always had a code of honor and in the comic he had only joined Cobra to find out who had killed his sensei. This a pretty cool take on the character though.

Storm Shadow is one of my all time favorite characters, I'm pretty sure I've seen every iteration of him. I think this is the coolest he's ever looked. A lot of time they give him an absurd amount of weapons, the movies are no exception. Like I said, he's never looked better, however I hate everything else about him. His motive is ridiculous and in the scenes where he and Snake Eyes are young, it doesn't even seem like they were ever close. His voice is completely over the top too. It's a little out of control. Everyone loves Snake Eyes. I put him in the Boba Fett category though, he's mad over rated. He's literally just a walking suit that looks cool, he doesn't speak; Storm Shadow is such a more interesting character (and better imo) and he's not 1/4 of as popular of snooze eyes. I mean Snake Eyes. Never have been a big fan of how he is a ninja who used a machine gun.

You're entitled to your opinion but personally I don't see how "he doesn't speak" is a problem. Dolphin from the "Aquaman" comics is mute and she's an awesome character. One of my favourite moments is when, despite her disability, she helps Aquaman regain his confidence.

I think the fact that he uses a machine gun is interesting since it implies using "Any" weapon, modern or otherwise if it offers an advantage. There's already a lot ofninja characters that use their traditional weapons exclusively so it's kinda cool to think of snake eyes as being less resitrictive. That being said snake eyes isn't my favorite Joe, that's gotta be Stalker from the original series.

In this movie, they wrote him as not being able to speak, for having his voice box shot during his master's assassination. They shows how he looked as a kid in the movie, too, but not grown up Snake Eyes

This series kinda pissed me off.. Why is Duke in control of the team? Shouldn't he be off with his Tiger Force buddies and letting Hawk run his own team? Also why is Scarlett with Duke? Her and Snake Eyes made the perfect couple.

snake eyes and storm shadow with their fight when they find me reminds me of the two girls who fight I am reminded of april o'neil and karai (teenage mutant ninja turtles 2012) Both are similar first they fight, some episode or scene team up together and then they become enemies again (well Not that much)
