I've never used a Vantage Pro for anything other that to pressure test transmissions with the pressure transducers. I love the ability to save the pressure graph as a Snap-On movie and later go back and review the movie in ShopStream.
When our shop foreman left, he took his Vantage Pro with him and I was left with 2 transducer, 2 cables, and 2 cable extensions I had bought. I just purchased a barely used Vantage Pro and just tonight started to take some online training through Snap-On and learned how little I know about this machine.
It has AlldataPro built into it and will automatically configure the machine for whatever test you need to perform. It will also tell you where you need to put the leads and what to look for during the test. Incredible.
