Qualcomm President and CEO Cristiano Amon recently delivered his keynote address at Computex 2024. Cristiano ushered in a new era of computing, detailing the groundbreaking Snapdragon X Series and how, with it, the PC is reborn. He was joined by leaders from the PC industry who shared news of new devices launching with Snapdragon X Series processors. Together, they discussed what consumers can expect from Copilot+ PCs powered exclusively by Snapdragon X Elite and Snapdragon X Plus.

Please offer your X elite to high end android tablets,so that they can compete with ipad pro m4,m4 is twice as powerful as snap 8 gen 3 is,your x elite is amazingly efficient meaning it can be used in tablets like 2025 samsung tab s10 ultra,please make that happen

Apple Macbook ironically seems better value However nice to see Snapdragon saving windows laptop. I would suggest to sell the arm pc as cheap as possible so that all developers small to large create and optimise the application for arms windows.

Hope this year there are 2 in 1 laptops with Snapdragon X Elite series or latest highend chipsets from AMD or Intel + Nvidia RTX 40 series gpu, Windows 11/12 Pro, 16-inch OLED/Mini-LED, 3.5K / 4K 120Hz display, 99.9 Wh battery, 4K webcam, Thinkbook-class keyboard and touchpad, MacBook-class microphone and speakers and Stylus Pen with 8192 pressure level and latency below 5ms

I hope their XR chipset gets used in more VR/AR/XR devices besides just Meta (mainly) and hopefully Pimax actually brings that monsterosity of a VR headset the '12K' to market by early 2025, at least then more impreasive things can happen in the VR industry than just Apple, Meta, Google/Samsung, and whatever Valve might release, oh and those VR OSes - Meta Horizon OS ans Google's OS for VR HMDs!

Snapdragon & Samsung, 2 company with hope to beat Apple 👏 Apple has optimized everything so that the CPU has optimal single-core performance. The Apple CPU is specifically designed to be optimized for benchmarking. It found that if the CPU has a lot of requests for single-core work and little multi-threaded work, the CPU will optimize for single-core by reducing the speed of all cores to extremely low (~200-300mhz ) helps reduce the voltage required for the CPU and greatly accelerate single-core (up to 4ghz). This is very beneficial for benchmarks and device performance as CPUs often prefer low clock speeds when operating and can go below 300mhz. The apple cpu on the iphone 15 is very hot when running benchmarks, and it is possible that apple has tampered with the cpu frequency. In fact it is most likely 4ghz but apple records it as 3.7ghz. There are many factors that help Apple CPU achieve high single-core performance but have not been discovered. It also runs 8-wide execution instead of 6-wide like a regular CPU
