I just thnk a lot of people wanna see some treasure though, we have had tons of episodes with history and really no treausre yet, no gold or anything, Lots of shows where they find wood or find something and it leads to nowhere, 10 years later, I think its time for a little bit of treasure. you gotta keep people invested, and little treasure would do that.

@@Jfree906 Who said that there is treasure there??? I've been following this Oak Island saga since 1962, even before the Restall tragedy and the fact is that nobody really knows what they are looking for. There is/was something definitely buried/concealed deep underground (i.e. the Money Pit) and I believe that there are things the public is not being told, given that the H-O stone, which was actually filmed and even photographed, is mysteriously missing--- not to mention the 90-foot stone which is also missing.

Whether they find silver and gold or not, they are finding historic artifacts and the HISTORY is the true treasure.

Dave has always been part of this. He backed away for personal reasons a couple years ago but was always welcome back in a more active role. Looks like that may be happening.

@@doughibbard7063 To be specific, the "7 must die" legend emerged as a superstition back in the 1890's after the second death of a worker on Oak Island. This Reality TV show is just capitalizing on this legend.
