About Southern Charm:
New relationships are forged alongside new resentments, but old habits die hard as these southern socialites grapple with shocking allegations that could fracture what were thought to be unbreakable bonds.
Fresh off a sabbatical in Australia, Shep has returned to Charleston and is ready to work on a friendship with Taylor, which proves difficult when he hears rumors about what she’s been up to while he was Down Under.
Taylor is still working through her breakup with Shep and has been leaning on best friend Olivia for support. When a potential hookup of hers is revealed, Taylor denies the allegations and is unapologetic about enjoying her single life.

The construction on Craig’s house is a work-in-progress, and so is his relationship status with Paige. Craig finds himself in dating limbo and is hoping for her to commit to a move down south.
Newly married Madison is settling into domestic bliss, with husband Brett splitting his time between Charleston and California. Though she is focused on mending friendships, she doesn’t suffer fools gladly and fires back at anyone who attempts to bring her down.
With a stable new beau in her life, Venita has left the feud with Madison in the past and is focused on new friendships with Olivia and Taylor. She’s not afraid to call out transgressions within the group and take sides if necessary.
JT is a successful southern eccentric with a loud personality. Buoyed by his professional prowesses, he’s looking for a partner to spend the rest of his life with and has a particular southern belle in mind.
Leva continues to be the voice of reason, providing a shoulder to lean on for the ladies and offering sage advice about the Holy City’s Peter Pans.
Rod is a staple in the Charleston social scene and a quintessential southern gent who has swept Olivia off her feet, regardless of who that might upset.
Rodrigo is an interior designer in a long-term relationship with boyfriend Tyler. He has been friends with the Charmers for many years and helps to keep them grounded.

From future scenes in the trailers we see he does get his way and has a least one date with Taylor which just proves he is huge hypocrite. I don't think that Shep and Austin appreciate JT. He speaks the truth, and they like to make believe that they're good guys. They aren't even good to one another. Austin messed around with Sheps ex. They fought over Chelsea. Shep and Craig made Austin break up with Madison, the woman he loved, because they didn't like her. Shep grabbed Katherine from Craig. Whitney had his fun two, and then denied it. Craig, Shep, and Austin are always yelling at the women. Shep and Austin sleep around like it's nothing. That's not respectable. Bunch of wankers... imo..

I feel so sorry for Olivia losing her brother. However, as far as Austen or any other man, she loves the attention. I don’t think she and Austen ever had anything that serious in the first place. And if she was mad at Taylor, she should have been pissed at Austen too. She jumped right back on him after she ‘thought’ they hooked up. Did they? I don’t know. But, then leaving her bra? Uh I think that was on purpose. More attention!! Olivia wanted Taylor to find out.

They never had a relationship. Austin was SO obviously not interested, and couldn’t even fake it for the cameras, that’s why she kept repeatedly complaining about him not even trying to see her, still focusing on Madison, not paying attention to her, etc. Like, read the room. It was a failed attempt at a storyline, and it’s absolutely disgusting how they’re trying to shame and dissect Taylor’s every grief and heartbroken move & mistake that she made & turn it into a “poor Olivia” situation. And how quick everyone is to forget that Taylor WANTED to tell Olivia right away what *briefly happened & was over in LESS THAN A DAY*, but Austin convinced her that would just hurt everyone…and then turned around and told Shep and KNOWINGLY made the situation look way worse for her. And never copped to it that he was behind that, like he assured Taylor he would, on camera. Austin has had a crush for a long time, he took advantage of Taylor when she was heartbroken, vulnerable, and confused by all of his attention, when all of Shep’s other male friends (that she thought were her own friends too after years of spending so much time together with & without Shep) had completely abandoned her, she made a brief mistake, realized it, and nothing more happened. End of the freaking story. It’s embarrassing and disgusting the way Taylor is being treated. SO glad she’s out of that headspace, got the therapy she needed, and has what seems like a solid relationship and support system now. Especially with everything that her family has gone through this past year. Her sisters cancer coming back was hard enough on Taylor, we saw her breakdown multiple times at the reunion from the stress of that situation, and losing her brother so suddenly now is just tragic. I think it’s pretty vile for producers to stage & edit things to make such a minor thing turn into completely shaming and villainizing Taylor, when they KNOW what she’s just been through these past 5 months, and absolutely KNOW that she was going to get horrible backlash due to the way THEY were framing all of this and intentionally filming & editing to make her look bad for the drama. That’s sickening to me. Thankfully she’s got a great, supportive family. This really could have done serious emotional and mental health harm to her if she wasn’t so strong & didn’t have that support, coming almost immediately after such a devastating loss. Makes my heart hurt for her.🥺

Everyone needs to stop pretending that Olivia was ever even Austin’s “ex”. PLEASE, do grow up. They literally went on a couple of awkward “dates” that never ended up great because Austin never actually put in any effort or seemed interested whatsoever, and Olivia was irritated AF from the get-go about that. It was a forced faux romantic interest for a storyline, that never actually took shape. They were never actually “together”, never exclusive, never boyfriend & girlfriend. Olivia was never ‘his’ & Austin was never ‘hers’. This entire drastically, absurdly blown-out-of-proportion drama over two people moving on - one from a situationship that never actually fully formed in the first place, & the other from a years-long relationship where she got cheated on repeatedly and manipulated into giving up her entire career for Shep, only to be subsequently cheated on & publicly humiliated & left to start a new career from scratch (& all of the trauma that goes with that, all while dealing with her sister in the throes of her second awful battle with aggressive cancer) - is absolutely EMBARRASSING for all who are trying to shame Taylor and throw her under the bus, especially her joke of an excuse for girlfriends, who’d rather nastily gossip about her behind her back than recognize that the woman is STRUGGLING and help guide her to less self-destructive ways to process, cope, heal, and move forward with her life. The way Taylor has been vilified for literally just being human & floundering and struggling after an absolutely emotionally and mentally draining past year & half in her personal life is vile, and the comments from viewers just further confirms how much toxicity and deep-seated internalized misogyny is present - and all too prevalent - amongst y’all.
