About Southern Charm:

The construction on Craig’s house is a work-in-progress, and so is his relationship status with Paige. Craig finds himself in dating limbo and is hoping for her to commit to a move down south.
Newly married Madison is settling into domestic bliss, with husband Brett splitting his time between Charleston and California. Though she is focused on mending friendships, she doesn’t suffer fools gladly and fires back at anyone who attempts to bring her down.
With a stable new beau in her life, Venita has left the feud with Madison in the past and is focused on new friendships with Olivia and Taylor. She’s not afraid to call out transgressions within the group and take sides if necessary.
JT is a successful southern eccentric with a loud personality. Buoyed by his professional prowesses, he’s looking for a partner to spend the rest of his life with and has a particular southern belle in mind.
Leva continues to be the voice of reason, providing a shoulder to lean on for the ladies and offering sage advice about the Holy City’s Peter Pans.
Rod is a staple in the Charleston social scene and a quintessential southern gent who has swept Olivia off her feet, regardless of who that might upset.
Rodrigo is an interior designer in a long-term relationship with boyfriend Tyler. He has been friends with the Charmers for many years and helps to keep them grounded.

I adore olivia. Shes so genuine, my heart breaks for her. I really hope shes careful with austin. Him being there supporting thrgh this loss is great. She needs support but there is a part of me that feels austin is doing this so that they become friends and he comes out the good guy. I havent trusted austin since season 4..his first season!

Shep is a narcissist, controlling red neck toddler pretending to be wise and moral with southern charm who wants all the attention on himself at all times. Taylor is just going to have to accept the fall out of her actions just like everyone else does when they f up so badly. When someone tries to get away with BS, people care. And yet clearly there’s more to her lies still. I think she knew exactly what she got into with Shep and then went hard after any other guy on the show without a care to anyone’s feelings bc she’s a Dr. Jekyl Miss Hyde narcissist type. We all go through hard break ups. It’s nothing compared to a ton of truly hard life circumstances that happen to millions every day. Lucky her for having such an easy life so far. When someone calls you out on you BS and all you do is keep hiding much more to the story and using BS excuses, it’s pretty easy to see what kind of person you are. Reality TV is full of these types of personalities including most of the cast in this show. Though I don’t think any of them even try to portray being so innocent as she pretends. Madison nailed her spot on and hard and that rocks.

I just listened to Shep for an hour on a podcast. He claimed that he’s never loved anybody as much as he loved Taylor. He did discuss children in marriage with her. She held out hope for that. And she was completely heartbroken by their break up. Which played out on national television. She and Olivia were not best friends. Funny because my initial instinct about him was that he is so creepy and ugly little Napoleon complex. Calling his mother mommy… So weird. But then when I saw him coming to Taylor’s defense, I thought that was endearing. So maybe he’s not that bad after all. Because he sees the pain in Taylor and why she was acting out and doing what she was doing. People should be more upset with Austin than with her.

JT's interest in Taylor is Not At All Altruistic, it is completely rooted in his own self interest along with being borderline creepy...... IMO , he is trying to ingratiate himself with Taylor in order to make a move on her, especially because she appears desperate for some semblance of acceptance within that friend group, after being called out on hooking up with her so called best friend's ex . Jt damn near salivates when he speaks to her or brings her up in conversation...... The sad thing is he thinks he may actually have a chance with her when it is painfully obvious she has absolutely no interest in him romantically.

I feel their pain, lost my father and brother, 28 and 14 years ago, respectively. Found each of them expired and even with my efforts to save, each was not enough to keep them on this earth. Just understand that the pain never truly goes away, you manage the pain. The tears eventually become smiles when reflecting on them.

My father dropped dead in front of me 15 years old. He had an asthma attack. I was the only one in my class that I knew who was missing a parent. Some of my friends parents wouldn’t let my friends have sleepovers at my house because my mom was suddenly a single mom. My whole life changed the day my father died.

I don’t think that meek tiny boned Taylor is really his type otherwise he would have taken her up on that offer. Taylor didn’t want Whitney either. Because, unfortunately, we hold out hope for the ones that we are with that they want the same things that we do. Scherb even admitted talking to her about having kids they discussed marriage… He wanted her to quit her job and travel the world with him. If you rewatch last season, you can see many scenes, where Shep is leading her on. And when you’re in love with someone is down. If Taylor were unattractive, all of these guys would have just labled her a pass around and moved on. Don't fall for it Olivia - this is a narcissist (who by the way seemed to take every chance to jump on the bandwagon and make your loss about his situation) who's spotted the leverage this tragic event has given him to get closer to you for more "supply." Ever notice how Austin moves in on a girl when she is at her worst either grieving or heartbreak, he's right there but not for the right things. I blame him for the Taylor kiss or whatever they had and if he moves in on Olivia while she is in pain, then I find him even more despicable. I think Rod is a straight up good guy and would be great for Olivia but Austin is going to muddy the waters because it's all about him now as it usually is. Popular opinion or not, I think Taylor was at the end of her tether when Shep cut her loose. She was bound to spin off. I couldn't do what she did to her best friend. I'd like to think I wouldn't. In times of stress I've made bad decisions so I can't just condemn her like Madison (of all people!!) and Venita, who isn't that close with any of them but sure has much to say. We saw Austin trying to angle his way into Shep and Taylor’s relationship two seasons ago. Olivia only hooked up with him to make Shep jealous. @@Babyhaswon I think it's congenital. I think Austin's is worse than hers. I'd have to look at the x rays to be sure. The lower jaw extends beyond the upper jaw. I notice in Austin's speech that his is more pronounced. I think Olivia has a habit of holding her mouth funny which makes it more noticeable for me. To correct this the jaw is broken and reset and then your mouth is wired shut to heal for about 6 weeks. Braces move the teeth into position. It's better to have corrected when your teeth are coming in when you're young. Overall it's entirely worth it. I'm surprised that neither has had that done considering both families are very wealthy. I understand that it isn't too painful and recovery is fairly quick.

I don’t like her anymore, but I remember when she first came on the scene she was always so nice to everyone and so bubbly. Very agreeable and never made any kind of demands and everyone fell in love with her.
