🌴🤔hummm, a lot of fisherman get into an area that there going to work and I catch myself doing all the time they work into fast , thinking covering more area will give them more a chance of randomly hitting something, now if your working topwater it might be ok , but those big fat boys laying on the bottom ain’t that athletic they want it dragged in front of their face , so presentation becomes a key factor and working slower near the bottom , our job as a fisherman is to try and trick fish that the lure we’re using is as life like as possible, it’s the lure manufacturers job to make a lure that looks life like and acts like the real deal , Z Man makes great lures being able to know how to use them comes from people with field on site use to show everyday guys the best way to work um , that’s were you come in , another great instructional vid , thanks for show us all !

It amazes me that some really avid anglers fish for years and never pick up on the correct retrieve for the situation .

Do you use a scent attractant at all for reds? As I’m sure your aware but I’ll elaborate for the audience that reds have a poor eyesight but an enhanced sense of smell with their four nostrils. I have the best luck for reds fishing something with some smell or adding a gel scent additive.

Depending on water clarity and time of year for me. I typically use scent in the coldest months and if I have to deal with turbid water conditions
