About Southern Charm:

The construction on Craig’s house is a work-in-progress, and so is his relationship status with Paige. Craig finds himself in dating limbo and is hoping for her to commit to a move down south.
Newly married Madison is settling into domestic bliss, with husband Brett splitting his time between Charleston and California. Though she is focused on mending friendships, she doesn’t suffer fools gladly and fires back at anyone who attempts to bring her down.
With a stable new beau in her life, Venita has left the feud with Madison in the past and is focused on new friendships with Olivia and Taylor. She’s not afraid to call out transgressions within the group and take sides if necessary.
JT is a successful southern eccentric with a loud personality. Buoyed by his professional prowesses, he’s looking for a partner to spend the rest of his life with and has a particular southern belle in mind.
Leva continues to be the voice of reason, providing a shoulder to lean on for the ladies and offering sage advice about the Holy City’s Peter Pans.
Rod is a staple in the Charleston social scene and a quintessential southern gent who has swept Olivia off her feet, regardless of who that might upset.
Rodrigo is an interior designer in a long-term relationship with boyfriend Tyler. He has been friends with the Charmers for many years and helps to keep them grounded.

Love how everyone has just completely ignored the fact that Olivia seems to have intentionally sought out Austin’s longtime friend to “date” & flirt with at parties that he’s also at, totally led him for weeks when he was CLEARLY *very* into her, and she couldn’t have cared less, and only finally told him so when she could no longer avoid it, because he finally point blank stated that he wanted something more, and then she gave him that BS line. She complains about Austin being a f*boy all day, but what is she doing? Purposefully leading on very nice men for no reason, meanwhile pretending for the CAMERAS that she hates Austin, being awful to Taylor 24/7, then texting Austin & flirting with him 24/7, sneaking off to see him & hang out with whenever cameras are down, literally going on vacation with him in the midst of all of this, then coming back and pretending she hates him again for the cameras?? Used to like Olivia. She’s now the fakest person on the entire show. All for a faux storyline that just didn’t take last season. Ffs. I feel bad for Olivia but mostly because of her best friends betrayal; could never trust her as a real close friend ,just casually . This is a shallow thing to say but here goes: wasn’t Olivia’s brother beautiful, not that it’s important but the picture him and Olivia just broke my heart. Hope he doesn’t feel obligated to marry his girl friend for the show. She just doesn’t look that into him for the right reasons - doesn’t seem like she’d bend to far for him. Look, now I sound like the type what I’ve been B--- about. As for the third guy shep( brain fog) always liked him as much as he does. Wouldn’t want a daughter marrying him- he’s a born bachelor and there is nothing wrong with that. But, never should have had his girl quit her job. On the other hand, if he noticed she was a bit unstable and wanted to back out - he should have. Taylor wasn't the one who spilled the beans about Olivia sleeping with TRav, that was Madison at last years reunion. Andy then asked Olivia point blank if she had slept with him and Olivia sat there on the couch and said no. Fair enough Taylor did the wrong bringing it up but she showed Olivia to be no better than herself. Olivia harped on all season about Taylor lying to her face and what a shitty person she was for doing it when Olivia was guilty of doing the same thing! Both women are guilty of deliberately and intentionally lying when asked a direct question. We now have TRav getting involved by making public statements that Olivia lied at this reunion about how old she was when they slept together. He is saying she was older. If he is telling the truth about it then it makes Olivia look really bad!

It's common for the 'other woman' to take the heat in cheating scandals, but usually it's some lesser known scapegoat like Rachel from VPR. Take that boys will be boys/will be tempted stereotype and combine it with a sense that the code or rule between friends is loyalty, and this is what you get. Olivia holds Taylor responsible as the other woman and a friend who lacks loyalty. Austen gets off scot-free because he's allowed to act with impunity since that's what his status/situation affords him.
