Thanks for tuning in! Today's video is a guide breaking down one of my most requested decks in Disney Lorcana, the Emerald / Ruby Evasive deck! This is an aggro deck that utilizes pesky Evasive characters to put on the pressure early and quickly as it quests for that precious lore. I hope you enjoy the detailed guide covering key cards and strategies, tech options, and more. I just played 4-5 games on Pixelborn and went undefeated. This deck seems pretty stinking good. The dragonfire was clutch when I needed it, but since it's a temp deck, would you consider cutting some for mother knows best because it's lower on the curve?

So my main deck is similar to this and how I've been playing it actually. For Ruby cards I use Pongo, Maui, Lefou and two Dragon Fire. I also go with three Mother Knows Best. I find that this can be clutch in slowing down the opponent if games go too long and I need more time to quest. I really like your take on the evasive aggro deck and I might have to give it a whirl after I try your Lemon Lime deck. Great and insightful video as usual, keep it up!

Been playing that lately on pixelborn and like it a lot,but Ruby emerald at locals. I absolutely love that deck (really close to this one, but gonna try this list as well)

I enjoy running 3 copies of Mulan with her Lead by Example ability. It REALLY puts pressure on the opponents as suddenly Hatter or Kuzco are questing for 4.

I guess I could see that, but with 12x 5-cost characters already plus 3x Dragon Fire I’m not sure she’s worth swapping out anything for. At least not in this Steel-dominate meta that will take out most of her +1 lore targets. It feels better to drop down a 5-ink character that can do something on their own.

I like Mulan a lot too, but I'm not sure if this is the deck for it yet. This deck doesn't really want to attack, but wants to quest as much as possible. Mulan has to sit for a turn to be good and chances are, you'd only get one use out of its ability whereas a Kuzco protects itself and will quest you for 3 forcing your opponent to deal with it. I think Mulan would fit better in an aggressive deck that wants to quest with the ability to heal. Maybe try an amber/ruby quest deck with 4 Rapunzel and other healing cards. With lantern, Mulan drops on turn 4, which is way better. Turn 5, attack with Mulan quest with your bodyguardes characters, then drop Rapunzel to heal Mulan and draw cards. Seems like it could be good to me.

I’m personally more of a fan using the 1/3 Minnie Mouse as opposed to Sargent Tibbs. Because I’m focused on questing so having a “bigger butt” is preferred. Most people run 2/2’s so they can’t get rid of Minnie until at least turn 3

I also love Emerald Ruby - currently 28/12 with my list on Pixelborn. I have some small changes in my deck: - no Mother Gothel, instead I play Meg and Minnie Mouse for some combat tricks. Helps really well against Lilo/Simba combo. - no Dragon Fire, instead Mother knows best - better tempo removal in most of the times.

I’ve been running a similar list at my locals, not as stream lined due to current card collection, and I t’s still been fun! Even without kuzco and Hans in my list it’s still competitive

Love this deck, I use a different version of it with what I found in my boosters and what I could buy as singles cheap cards since the game came out. I immediatly saw the annoying potential of this deck without the need for spending hundreds of dollars.

Been playing almost exclusively evasives since launch because of the price. Gothel is nice but I find my opponent just running Maui or removal into her and then questing anyways. Great video as always! Trying to decide what deck to play at the Miami 1K this weekend…what would you play?

I've been running something similar but I put the Aladdin package in. The 4 lore swing on shift turn 5 is insane and it wrecks lemon/lime and the mirror. Playing conservative against ruby/am control I often only drop 1 or 2 characters down and force them to waste their removal or lose to a straight up solitaire race. Ill save Aladdin SR for turn 7 and at 8-9 lore when they start playing real threats I'll drop HO and double or even triple tap with a shield/lefou. -4 Pans + 4 Aladdin SR -2 Mother Gs - 2 pongo +4 Alladin HO

I've been really enjoying using this deck, but I want to add 2 Maui for some brute strength in case I come up against something big or overwhelming. Suggestions on 2 cards to remove?

Maybe Dragon Fire. Both 5-cost for removal. However I’d probably just run MKB over both after some testing.

good stuff good stuff though i think its actually 4 genie 2 gothel instead of the other way around and lately ive been favoring John Silver over Gothel since he basically kills anything that attacks into him

Is this pre-floodborne? I would like to see how you updated. I have something similar and added perfect gent donald for the draw. Plus ray help the top end stay pedal to the medal. How would you build it today?

hi, question how does this deck work against the 5 turn kill yellow/green deck? i would love to run it as it mainly contains cards I own but i'm worried on how it fairs against the tot meta decks like yellow/green

I think the Amber aggro version is better personally, but some might disagree. This deck is certainly cheaper to buy if that matters.

@@ssteadfast thanks for the reply. I will then be taking amber aggro to my LGS. at first I was considering between this and amethyst Amber but they recently announced they will allow proxy cards so that made Amber aggro a possibility.

@@wkblauwsterI play a guy with the A/A deck. You get to pick your targets better than them. Also Maui and mother knows best. There is also a trick with tink to make Simba evasive so you can attack the Lilo

Pretty good actually, because this deck negates your biggest weakness, the lack of card draw with their song.

@@arwen999 A whole new world. Because this song let's you draw, which gives you in most cases more benefits then your opponent.

Depending on how optimized your locals is. Many steel song decks don't run awnw. Or only run 2 copies.

I’m gonna need an updated version of amber / amethyst, it’s just not working against majority of the decks. And I’ve received comments that the deck needs a rework

I haven’t played it in about a month. Wide low willpower characters can’t roll with so much Steel damage spread and midrange bodies.

I would love to see you grind some ranks first and then post some matches in like high gold low plat. Because i'm plat 5 atm. And the decks you try here get destroyed at those ranks. It will give the audience alot more perspective on whats viable and what isnt.

I've been running MKB over Dragon Fire lately, its much better, can be sung by Jasper/Cheshire/Tink for free

I think both Jasper and Horrace are rubbish, Mother Knows Best is okay. Consider adding Fan The Flames (for Kuzco) or Aladdin Street Rat (to be salty)

This deck works okay against midrange control decks in my opinion, but I really dislike the current evasive line. Against aggro you are too slow and are forced to trade your stat-wise worse cards to keep up. Also it basically just looses against amethyst go wide, steel and other ruby heavy lists (and even robin hood).all in all it seems to only be a decent match against slower decks you would also win by playing emerald amber or emerald ruby aladdin. Dont get me wrong, I play a lot of those cards in my emerald ruby list, but IMO it feels better to have a streamlined wincon and 'some' evasive chars to force the enemy to target those with removal instead of your mad hatter/flynn.
