Holy Crap! This is best news I have heard since 2020!! This made me cry, it was such a part of who I was growing up, and at 71 I still remember the giant strawberry & chocolate ice cream cone and getting to eat there with the family for my H.S. graduation

My dad worked at YESCO and said he had designed the double ice cream cone sign. It was unique at the time.

@susanblake, I have been waiting a long time for them to give me a cone that size.😜

I’ve always wondered about those two giant cones, I’m glad to hear the Snelgroves are making a come-back!

Please, please, please use the original recipes. There is no better ice cream than Snelgrove's! Burnt Almond Fudge was my favorite and no other brands come close to its deliciousness.

Snelgroves ice cream, back in the day, tasted better than any other ice cream. Will the new Snelgroves ice cream taste the same as it used to?

I loved hearing Uncle Laird tell stories about the ice cream business during the Depression. Aunt was a gracious host; seeing and hearing him brought back great memories.

Miss their ice cream and more importantly, an ice cream store. Hope one returns in SLC.

I've never heard of it, but I have heard of Snelgrove Lake. Although, that's in Alaska. There's a cabin there that's famous for being attacked by Bigfoot.

What a reminder of how far the valley has fallen. Dreyer's destroyed the brand. Tons of chemicals and gums. We just want cream, sugar, salt and fruit or other flavoring.Would be cool to see them back with better quality than Dreyer's.

Can you buy from local, humane farms? Do not support these newer, abusive ones….please!! I think you will feel the same.

The name is there, but the quality is long gone! Cows treated with hormones on a daily basis ans artificial flavors do not make for a good ice cream.
