It's fun to remember just how awesome the SNES was. What an amazing library of games. I will always have especially fond memories of Link to the Past, Super Metroid, and Super Mario World.

I'm 23 years old and this game was released when I had just turned 1 year old, and I'm still as impressed by this games beautiful and colorful graphics as I was as a kid, the visuals have aged so well, it's amazing really

I just bought a snes from ebay mainly for this game! I have absolutly no interest in any other zelda, but this game was my absolute favourite as a kid. Well worth it, the game was years ahead of it's time

Ocarina of Time is one of the best game ever made, Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, and Skyward Swords are all great. BUT, there's just something badass about the way Link to the Past begin. The King is Dead (a skeleton!), the Princess is imprisoned, your uncle dies right in front of you, the story take place in the middle of the thunderstorm. This is how you should start a game.

Oh, I did have the Princess (Zelda) with me, but now I know you need the Lamp, as she says, before you push it, 'You can't see without one'. The game will also mess up in the Caves of Death Mountain, if you don't have the lamp equipped.

Here is a secret you didn't show in your longplay. At 33:55, if you sprinkle Magic Powder(yes you can get it before you get to this dungeon) it will turn into a fairy that you can catch and store in your bottle. =)

(comment continued) Also, whenever I have the Book of Mudora (in the emulator) and I use it to read the stone tablet outside the second Light World dungeon (Desert Palace), and in the Lost Woods, before getting the Master Sword, when I do the same, the language is still in ancient Hylian. As for the Pegasus Shoes, you still have to start the game without them, and get them as you would in the original cartridge, after beating the first Light World dungeon - Eastern Palace.

Also, you have to start the game (even on the emulator ZSNES) as if you were playing the original cartridge, without the Flute, and get it the usual way, as if you were getting it on the cartridge (finding the Shovel first in the Dark World, then using the Magic Mirror to find it in the Light World)

@DominqueDoty This is a secret EVERYBODY GETS. Just outside the church is a boulder you can lift, it bring you down in the sewers again. There 100 rupees there. You can break the wall with pegasus boots or bombs.

That is a pretty awesome name too, given the connotations. "The word 08/15 lives on as an idiom in colloquial German, 08/15 (pronounced Null-acht-fünfzehn, or more colloquially Null-acht-fuffzehn), being used even today as an adjective to denote something totally ordinary and lacking in originality or specialness.

(comment continued) Then you have to go to back to the Dark World and play it to the shrew-like creature, then warp back to the Light World, where you should play it to some elderly man in one of the houses in Kakariko Village, then play it where you see the North, South, East and West directions. If you enable the cheat where you can start with the Flute, it'll not work.
