I first played this on ZSNES with a friend back in 1999-2000, but then forgot the name of the game for years when I found it again sometime back in 2013 and played through it again.

The music in this game is great, I particularly like the first level theme.

Ahh I remember playing this one. I was looking for beat em ups with more depth at the time and what surprised to multiple moves. I also saw the existence of a not that great port of Denjin Makai for SNES (Ghost Chaser Densei) but surprisingly, full on long juggle combos are actually still possible which is pretty crazy for a SNES beat em up.

Hey drunk, I don't know if you're into visual novels, but I really want to recommend you Nintendo Detective Club Part 2/Famicom Tantei Club Part 2. It's a remake of the prequel of a Famicom game. It was the penultimate Super Famicom release (the last one was the remake of Metal Slader Glory), and was only available through that Nintendo Power Cartridge service that was basically a flashcart that you would bring to a store, pay some money, choose a game and they would copy the rom to the flashcart (just like Radical Dreamers, the sequel-but-not-really to Chrono Trigger).

Been wanting to play this game but mine freezes like 2 mins in.

I'm one of those people would probably have fun with this.
