I just ordered the Sniper 2 to replace my classic Sniper EFI. My classic EFI has developed a bad injector. These Holley Videos are so well done and informative.

Very nice how to videos. I am looking forward to installing my complete sniper system when I install my 383 into my 76 corvette. I am really impressed by that distributor indexing tool. Sure beats the old school way of initial setting of timing.

I got the hyper spark distributor, holley hyperspark canister coil, and coil driver. This combination works as well and isn't nearly as expensive and the coil driver is alot smaller and easy to hide. No big box or coil besides the canister coil.

Curious im moving the battee to the right rear side of my car. Whats the proper way to extend the wire to reach the post for the battery.

you never exsplained what you did the two wires you took off the coil you taped up at the biggining of the video or does the new wire harness take the origanal harness

So do you install the distributor pointing at number one spark plug terminal or do you install it slightly ahead of that so you can turn back the distributor to make the clear cap fit? It seems like he would just install it with the rotor pointing at number one spark plug terminal.

The instructions states not to plug the pink 12v switch on the coil positive tho, I’m installing the EFI sniper and the distributor and before I move to locate a wire from the ignition switch can you clarify please thanks

Finally got my upgrade for the Sniper with the Hyperspark. Can anyone tell me what are good numbers for AFR/ WOT /Idle/Cruise settings On our stock 87/95 350 engine 2 bolt main with the center bolt valve covers Stock GM roller Cam and the Street Warrior Intake. Not the Vortec heads. Got it as a rebuilt. Idles at 700/750 just boring as heck. I wonder if Holley is going to come up with a EFI version for the Sniper for those of us that have mild stock small blocks like the 350. My aunt likes all her stuff same brand likes the Sniper Logo would change out the intake and anything else with this logo in a second. She sees everything as jewelry so all this just for the logo its her 64 C10 Fleet Short.

Mine stays at static setting after the first check? Can not get it to run 18 deg idle set. It clears, I cut it off, then when I shut it off, it back spins, which is essentially pumping my oil back out of the pump.

Same here I have a 69 c20 sbc 400 with the Edelbrock 450hp kit and roller cam. I have heard that the duel plan intakes do not work good with the EFI. Or is that a misunderstanding on my part ?

Where can I buy that rotor phasing tool for a Chevy distributor clock wise rotation. I had to remove the intake and install a new balancer. This is the first time I work on this system. It was already on the car. I set the distributor at TDC set #1 wire right smack at where the rotor was pointing to on the cap and it ran real bad. Some popping out of the throttle body and the exhaust sounded funky and sounded like a pop corn making machine. I worked on it for a few hours and now I know why it ran funky. Should I redo the entire setup using the wizard? What would be a good initial timing for a BBC with a street/strip camshaft? Please any info would help but please let me know where I can get that tool.
