@@nikolaiiscoolguyproduction4807 Well I think that’s just a glitch, all the AI soldiers drop their weapons like that when they die. What is also weird is that he carries a Luger. In reality Hitler would’ve carried something small and concealable like a Walther ppk, which was actually a dlc gun in the last game so they could’ve added it here.

He's a combat veteran, who fought in WW1, led action in the Weimar Power Struggle, and personally oversaw the rearmament of Germany. To think he doesn't recognize the silhouette of one of the most distinguishable grenade designs is a bit of a stretch.

@@HausAbendrot Another funny thing is that this kind of grenade didn't have a pin or a handle that could be removed by accident while opening a package, you had to pull a cord from the handle to ignite the fuse, so he'd have to see the grenade and, for some reason, decide to rip it out of the package, then stand still for around 4 seconds.

As a courier, he conveyed messages from the leadership to the front. The work was dangerous, but much less so than that of the soldiers at the front. The cutscene on the lake is actually quite accurate and heartbreaking. Hitler really loved his mother, and wants his mother see him in great success. But well, she passed away long before Hitler being what we known today.

I killed him in Sniper Elite 4 with a sniper rifle. After that, I ran up to his body and started shooting at it with a grease gun. I kept shooting until I was almost out of ammo.

Yeah, something similar to it...the movie Operation Valkyrie does a very good job of explaining what happened and why/how hitler survived...(okay, maybe not 'explaining', but, showing...the bomb was not correctly fused, and it was moved behind a leg of the table(those are the two BIG reasons why 'history' believes hitler survived)).
