So asphalt will actually blister dogs feet. So you cannot walk them on asphalt in the summer. Put your hand down on it or take your shoe off and put your barefoot on it. If it’s too hot for you it’s too hot for them. Also dogs will become heat, exhausted, especially young dogs, who don’t know how to monitor their exuberance. So be very aware of dogs overheating.

Wow that's really surprising about your son's National Honor Society ceremony. I was inducted in the 90s and it was definitely impressive for your college applications but the ceremony was very formal. Maybe National Honor Society has lost some of its credibility over the years and students don't take it as seriously anymore. Enjoyed the chatty video as I did some journaling this morning. I'm have about 6 more hours of Mercury on audiobook to go based on your review a few weeks ago.

Focus mode is the best! Takes 5 minutes to set up and saves hours of time and sanity! Discord is just one of the many distractions on my phone that I control via focus mode

Also as for dogs and heat, it hits triple digits here and my dogs still go out to do their business. I don’t let them stay out longer than they absolutely need to and I don’t let them eat or drink while they are panting heavily. We go for walks super early in the morning before sunrise unless the pavement is too hot. I have not tried putting boots on them. We just suffer thru a bit of extra energy around the house in the very hot months.
