Ryu's dialogue in this game is the most personality he's ever shown in the history of his existence.

This is a BIG reason why this game has a special place in my heart.

No lie, this was a rarity. I know you have to really be into SNK to enjoy Chaos, but I can't help but appreciate the illustration art to turn every Capcom Character in the game into a King of Fighters design. It has a special place.

I love how the characters from this game just ignore how the world has apparently end. They just don't care.

I always forget how fun the dialogues are in this game! But can you blame me for that?

The dialogue here is so corny, stiff and out of character especially for Ryu and Gouki but I can't be mad because it's funny.

Does this at least feel better than the SFxT derailment for the Tekken characters like Julia and Xiaoyu? I'm just curious.

A lot of the interactions here aren't really interesting, you really have to look deep for anything funny, like Dahlsim telling Choi he can make him taller by getting him into yoga. I think most people can agree that the amount of effort put here is admirable though, every single unique match up in this game has it's own dialogue. As a whole, this game feels unfinished and has some untapped potential, it's a big shame it never got a sequel because it could have been a genuine competitor to CvS 2, but it remains today as a niche, mildly intriguing one-off title.
