Yeah, since that's where all the Jedi come from. There's no family lines in the Jedi, everyone is a kid from a random couple in the galaxy that happened to have a force sensitive kid. Luke was the first known kid of a Jedi in what has to be centuries if not millennia. Having Rey be the daughter of no one is more in line with how the Jedi actually operate. But disney couldn't just let it be, and just had to have a big reveal in their movie.

It would have been cool if Snoke was the main villain of episode 9 Since Palpatine was going to cheat death anyway, just do it with Snoke. They could have even made Snoke Darth Plageuis, which would explain how he came back from the dead. He learned to cheat death before Palpatine killed him in his sleep and has been running the show behind the scenes, creating the Skywalker line specifically as a force spirit to take Palpatine out of the picture. It could have been a more interesting plot line for the final film and would tie the prequels, originals and sequels together nicely

It's fine if they wanted to do their own thing, but they borrowed so many plot elements from the OT and barely introduced any new ships that were truly unique. Also, the fact JJ Abrams didn't have a single big space battle in a series called STAR WARS should be criminal. Even the battle of exogel took place on atmosphere and we didn't see any ship-ship combat.

Like what happened in those three years between Attack of the clones and Revenge of the sith you get attack of the clones wars series and tie in comics or how different places and people reacted to order 66 and you see that in clone wars, the revenge of the sith, fallen order and different comics. Also if people belove the sequals so much why do I see so little of it pushed. I mean seriously the OG trilogy is still milked to this day with toys and comics hell the Mandalorian is set during it and the Prequal well their just the same people expanding upon them but it seems disney themselves have shut the vault on this failed attempt and praying that their new High Republic era is the thing people talk about. It might be good it might not be and with disney track record I learn more to the latter but am willing to give it a try I did with the sequals. Remember even in the Prequal era starwars was king no matter how bad the movies where people still bought it's games, toys and so on but I don't see the same hype for disney's starwars.

I actually think that's a cool explanation for the Rule of Two, every time the apprentice kills their master the master's soul fuses with the apprentice. After a thousand years of this it would make sense why Palpatine is strong enough to overpower a whole squad of jedi masters

Clones were used a lot in the old novels and there was the entire prequel trilogy centered around them and the war they fought in

A master didn't have to be on the Council. Qui Gonn for instance was a master who refused a seat on the Council and Dooku was a master before leaving the Jedi Order and never had or as far as I kow was offered a seat on the Council.

It's safe to say Masters were those who trained Padawans all the way to knighthood. That's how Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan got their statuses as Masters, at least. Anakin trained Ahsoka but since she left before being Knighted, it didn't grant him a promotion. Luke's situation as the last remaining Jedi before reviving the Order made him the defacto leader, and raising several apprentices at once should be enough to grant him the rank of Master, especially seeing as the Order needed one. We do not know if Ben was a knight before he turned but it's rather irrelevant to Luke's status as Master. We don't know much about Luke's order in this timeline so the details are murky. Rey was indeed powerful but she didn't train a single soul or lead any such new order (yet) so being called a master is ludicrous. If Rey can be a master just by being powerful at such a young age, then Anakin is a master in ROTS and Luke is a master by the end of ROTJ. Alas, they aren't and therefore Rey shouldn't be (at this point) either.

And then heals him with a power she learn at the time ??? And then goes to a planet and burns a ship and a lightsaber only to be stopped by a force ghost that SUUDENLY cares about lighsabers because ??? And then grabs the sith holocron out of the burning star fighter that's undamaged because ??? And then a force ghost picks up a star ship that's been under water for decades on a planet where weathering and erosion don't exist because ??? And then a droid from a desert planet has all these things stored in it's head because ??? And then the sith with many clones is still in an old dead body because ??? And he reviews he's her granddaughter from some family he never made but was still there because ??? And then the non-force sensitive come with the plan od destroying a tower so they can't leave atmosphere because ??? And when a star fighter has it's scope on the tower they launch a ground invasion on it because ??? And then the big ship takes the relay to save the tower then they launched their ground invasion on the ship and they can't just tilt the ship because ??? And then help without any sith holocrons or Mcguffin droids can navigate the dangerous path to the planet because ??? Where a sith drains the two force sensitive people and murder everybody except the people who are doing damage because ??? And then this super powerful lightning can't knock back a lightsaber, making it worse than a blaster pistols because ??? And after he's destroyed she looks at the sith who's dead and she isn't because ??? And then heals him again because??? Where he, a sith, has also learned this power because ??? And then kills himself for her. They then celebrate and Chewbacca is given a mesal because ??? The point is, this movie doesn't make sense.

Then the next film the Rise of Garbage they allude him being just a clone Palpatine made. Obvious bad writing there's no defending it. PSA Stitch and MauLer have already done two hour long videos about all the terrible flaws Last Jedi and Rise of Skywalker did so I don't feel like explaining the obvious to someone who can find out for themselves so easily.
