I was going to say the same thing, lol. These, being Bikemaster brand, are for the same purpose, for motorcycles used on race tracks. Maybe whoever sent them intended for you all to try tying your firewood bundles with safety wire? Could be a viable option!

Back in the day I was a certified safety wire inspector (had my own stamp) in VMFA 235 F-4 squadron at KMCAS Hawaii. Those safety wire pliers come in handy for lots of stuff. Congrats y`all this was the funniest episode y`all ever did. bwahaha

I still use them on Jets. Cool color on those though.

He's talking about the red pliers, I've never seen them in any color but black till now. In the Air Force they are called safety wire pliers. Hopefully the Boss man or your grandpa can show you how to use them.

Those red pliers are safety wire pliers. They are very useful for securing wire together. We use them all the time in the aviation community to secure fasteners on aircraft engines, propellers, etc. There are a lot of cool uses you can use them for. You can purchase safety wire in .024, gauge .032 gauge and .041 gauge being the heaviest wire.
