Snow driving a 2wheel drive pickup in the NC mountains. First snow of 2022, driving to work at Sugar Mountain Resort from home, near App state campus in Boone NC. I have worked at Sugar for 40 years and have never owned a 4WD pickup. Have only had 3 times unable to make it, and then hardly anyone could. The key to snow driving is is very light inputs into the throttle, steering and especially the brakes, and learning to make skid corrections instinctual. Also good tires, although these are at the end of their life
