he's at home, and his home town is singing his song to him. in ulster you have to be a very special person for us to sing to you regardless of who you are. he grasped it, thats why he said thank you.

I can never hear this song enough. Everything about it is intensely beautiful. Seeing Snow Patrol live a few years back, at a small venue in SLC, was truly amazing. I just learned to play Run on the uke, and I’m over the moon!

To watch this now well into 2021, almost a year exactly into our COVID world we all exist in now this is even more heartwarming & inspirational. The power of music is at its best here, it can bring us together & unite us all like nothing else can. Absolutely everyone worldwide has been affected by this in some way & despite all the crazy shit with the US elections & so forth we’ll all get through this if we just look out for each other & help each other out & When this is over & we can get together again in crowds we’ll sing even louder & truly in unison. Leona Lewis, why on earth did you bother covering this, epic song and a brilliant version. Gary Lightbody is a huge talent, I've heard him a couple of times on radio, and on a Sky Arts programme going this, chasing cars and a couple of other songs with nothing more than an acoustic guitar, true talent 👏
