Glad to see Snow Peak is recognizing you for your great videos about their products. You are the best Snow Peak review channel in English and I love watching your videos. I recently bought the futon as well and I love it. Wish it came with some carry bags included in the price since it is pretty expensive.

I can definitely say that SP's Campfield futon is the most versatile camping furniture. I use it in my home when I do not go camping. It is very bulky and heavy, but I really love it!

Many years ago, before Snow Peak really became a little more known here in the US, I used to watch the Australians take SP products out camping. I always thought it was fantastic. I have accumulated a few items from SP. Yes, price a little steep, but I just save a little to purchase from them. Just great products and looks great. It really looks like a home.

This is a great set up for my 6 person tent when I'm staying for a couple of weeks in one place. Or for my large tent up I leave up in my own woods all summer. Snow Peak is great quality but out of my price range without a great sale. Thanks for sharing.

I love mine but use it exclusively for deck furniture. Small enough to stow easily in the garage for winter but a bit too bulky to pack in the car.

Nice, yeah it's perfect for that! Our's gets a lot of use at home as well. Definitely takes up some valuable real estate in a vehicle, but I do enjoy having it for longer trips!

Hey, thank you! It definitely takes a good amount of room in a vehicle, but the nice thing is the frame and cushions are flat and the same length + width. For reference, packed up the frame measures 29in length by 19in width by 6in height and the cushions are the same length and width but 10in high. I forgot to demonstrate this in the video, I meant to show it packed in my vehicle! I'll try to get a full article up on my website soon with photos of it packed in my trunk. Great demo and insight! I've actually been looking into this set as an alternative to a traditional couch for my apartment as I liked how versatile its design is. Do you feel like you could sit in the campfield futon for long periods of time? And also what is the name of those extra bamboo inserts?

Thanks! I’ve seen a lot of people use the Campfield futon in their apartments, we use it frequently in the studio and usually just leave it setup. Snow Peak Campfield also uses them throughout their coffee shop and we hung out in there for a while on them and it was really nice. They also added some throw pillows that really enhanced the look in my opinion. I think it’s great for apartments both aesthetically and just how practical it is. Some people prefer a more cushy or cloud feel, but then you’re looking at a full on sofa. The insets are the bamboo wide insert x2.

The measurements on the snow peak website are a bit ambiguous - would you happen to have the measurements for: the sitting height (top of cushion to floor) and the height of the back rest (top to floor)?

Hey, the top of the seat cushion to floor is 14 inches and the back rest cushion top to floor is 31 inches.

Ryan, nice appraisal. Are there any negatives? Would you be able to sit on it for hours and still fee comfortable? Also, does it come in a carry case? Thanks! I've been thinking of getting one but they are £950 over here...😢

Hey, thank you! The fact that it doesn’t come with a carry case is a negative for me. I forgot to mention it, but they really need to consider providing one. We’ve used it on several weekend trips exclusively and it’s been really comfortable. But other than the case, the futon itself all around really good. Next solo trip, I’m going to use it as my sleep platform in the alpha breeze. Keep an eye out for sales, I see it marked down occasionally. Thanks again for all your support on here!
