I actually specify how turf damage will be repaired. Basically dirt and seed. So I don't have customers coming at me looking for sod.

Thanks! Yeah I always recommend getting professional help wherever possible in business. After all there are people that specialize in this stuff and accounting and everything that I definitely don't specialize in. Just sharing what I've learned from them!

wow that's a big contract! I wouldn't even know how to price something that big. I do mostly residential and a few commercials but my biggest commercial property takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes and I charged around 12 grand this year

Why only one swipe in front of the mailbox? Sometimes it takes a few passes

I guess it depends on the mailbox. Most of the time the road plows get pretty close so I just have to push it back a foot or so. As i'm approaching or leaving the driveway i just drop my blade and make a swipe. I don't like to spend more time in the road than I have to

I'm in Cazenovia which is about 25 min South-East of Syracuse. Higher elevation though so we get a lot more snow than Syracuse.
