@kevnwarriner8819 I lived in Germany in the late 00's. Back then, London would get a few hours of snow & it would shut down the whole city. It happened a few times, apparently costing billions of £ each time. Each time I was sitting in my far snowier German city with no issues. So I was being somewhat facetious & only really referring to London. Lots of the UK is ofc fine with snow.

Welcome to northen Scandinavia and Finland for exercise! Its typical "rangers"/"jägarsoldater" area of combat, becuse of the harsch climate! Its not that better in the summer, very few roads and a lof of rivers, lakes, bogs and swamps! Its why we developed CV 9040 and Archer, there gonna be that few, so a 40 mm canon on CV90, to outmatch any other IFV! And for Archer.. go as fast as posible on smal gravel roads, to suport our rangers/Jägare.. shoot and scoot! Soo, is Archer the best artillery system ever.. no I dont think so, its special, kinda high technology artillery system, that higher echelong military comand can use for best effect kinda like Himars! If one only need artillery rounds, its much cheaper then himars rockets!

frozen Beard..? , said no soldier ever in the British Army
@johns70
@johns70 2 ай бұрын
XD, but seriously, if your beard gets wet and it is colder than -25 (which happens every winter in northern Sweden), it starts to freeze REALLY fast. And it draws body heat from you, so you need to be aware and not be sloppy about drying it out. Also, exhaling air is moist (hence the smoke when it freezes), and that can pile up too in your beard and mustache. 😁👍
