A muzzle brake redirects the gas backwards to reduce recoil on the gun, while a flash hider contains the burning gas from the muzzle and stiops it being seen as easily

When you also install a suppressor in it it will decrease the range.....

@@mariateresadunay573 Actually, that's what video games lead you to believe. Suppressors have no downside other than increase the length of the firearm, unless it's an integrated suppressor. Suppressors work by giving the gasses somewhere to expand before exiting it. That in turn, makes the gun quieter. By the time the projectile has left the barrel and enters the suppressor, it has already reached maximum velocity. It simply traps the gasses and does nothing to the projectiles itself.

I bought one of Snow Wolf M107A1 since 5 years ago. I think it's quite durable being prepared with other guns but not suitable for using in Airsoft war. Now, It is being hung on the wall for being a furniture. I hope that Snow Wolf will continue their production again. I will be waiting for M82A1 and M99

Gotta say, I own this exact model and I am very happy with it. The literally only problem I had with it so far was the one of the legs on the bi-pod breaking and so I had to take off the entire thing and oh boy, using it without a bi-pod certainly is a challenge

ive shot the real m82 and the recoil really isnt all that much. The barrel moves backwards and absorbs some of the recoil, while the muzzle break also helps to reduce the recoil. My AR actually feels like its got more recoil than the m82 i shot. Pretty ingenious design

That thing on the end is clearly a compensator which is like muzzle brake the reason it has holes in it that are sloped back so that the force of the explosion is guided backwards to reduce rearward recoil so the gum doesn't kick as much making it more accurate and easier to fire

The functions between a flash hider and muzzle brake are different one disperses gasses in a way to reduce recoil while the other just suppresses the muzzle flash which already is not very visible

Hi, just a quick info: The magazine insert is a short type M4/M16 Highcap. Just unscrew it from the bottom and replace it with another one. The long obviously doesn´t fit in ;).

Fun fact the Barrett 50 cal appeared in Robocop with the box square flimsy scope yet retro badass futuristic scope and inspired appeared in 2001 Halo combat evolve sniper rifle

The COD Barrett was semi- auto. One klick - one shot. Full auto would mean holding the trigger down and the rounds go brrrrrrrt. Holding the trigger down on the Barrett just does one shot, which is 100% correct like the real gun. Why they implemented a full auto mode on this replica I don't understand tbh.

Pone BARRETT en el lateral, en las instrucciones pone Pro Shop 8mm.Es identico y dispara a 415 Fps. Sera el mismo SNOW WOLF mejorado? Gracias y un saludo desde España

it is a muzzle brake. it reduces the recoil by 30% depending on the design of the muzzle brake. every caliber and muzzle velocity of a round requires different design of muzzle brake so dont be surprise that M107 muzzle brake is different from M99 AMR

That magazine is actually about an inch or two smaller than the real one. 12.7x99mm rounds are enormous.

It doesn't hide the flash, it does break the blast so you wil have less recoil

No not a compensator, they direct gas upward to keep the barrel from kicking vertically. Muzzle brake directs gas backwards to reduce the hit on the shooter’s shoulder.

Bought one not battery or gas just spring. Find it 270fps and shots go all over the place. Never the same shot . Up down left right. The mag is also a lot smaller . Maybe 30 round

Proud owner of a Snowowlf m82 HPA here. it is a great gun and fun to play AND if someone calls for a sniper and sees you coming up with tthat thing. They just look at you and ask how you are carrying that thing aroundXD and quick note for those highcaps. they are standart M4 short types in there. just swap em out for anyone who doesn´t know

Question for the HPA. Is it possible to fit the 0.2L ( 13 ci ) tank inside the stock? I see that's spacious but there in nowhere info of the dimensions.

@@patrikgabric38 ah 0.2 l Bettler should be possible. Never tried it myself but it might fit. Dont have one to test it. But it was something i also thought about in the begining. But it wouldnt hold up for a whole Day of playing. I have a 1 second delay programmed before i can shot again but even then with a full Day i use about 1/3 of my 0.8 bottle. So it might be possible to fit one but i wouldnt recommend it personnaly

It's a Muzzle Break because it allows for the barrel to recoil safety, just like the German Panther's and Tigers tank Barrel's Muzzle break.

I brought this gun back in 2018 the bi pod broke before I had a chance to use it. It's a really nice gun but weak for a sniper,long story short in 2020 I put a polastar F2 in it now it's a true sniper a beast.

Hey Pros, in your opinion, which would be a good weapon to start with? I've read not to start with a sniper as a beginner, but in general: what's a good weapon, let's say in the 200€ segment?
