I lived in Tahoe for seven years and had to leave because of work. I really hope to get back someday it truly is heaven on earth. ❤️Tahoe!

Hey dont mean to burst any bubbles but Tahoe is not the deepest "alpine lake". Crater lake is the deepest by about 300 ft at close to the same surface elevation. Love Tahoe though.

Well, he said largest in area not depth. Tahoe is bigger than Crater lake by area not depth.

Tahoe is nice I have boarded there many times with friends that have a cabin there and others living there. I live at the beach and surf and 40 degree water is COLD 56 degree water is cold in the water in the ocean during winter and a full wetsuit is needed by all. Why they decide to jump in the lake is beyond me. It is not refreshing at 40 guaranteed. They are not boarding in boardshorts for good reason. It is a free country but I will pass on 40 degree water without a dry suit.
