In the closeups, Trinity's hands were Tony Binarelly's, an italian illusionist.

This scene would not be the same without the actor who brilliantly plays the part of wild card Hendricks. I love his facial expressions when he shuffles the cards, when he tries to make sense of the first slap session, and when he tries his hardest to concentrate before the second slap session.

This has to be one of the funniest movie scenes in history. It's funny no matter how many times you watch it.

The thing that gets me is when the deck is cut he puts it right back on top. 🤣

LMFAO, the best movies of all time, every single one of them, so funny yet to think that jerry lewis and dean martin had nothing on these 2 brothers. :) the good old days, sure theres better movies, but the first country and western old school movies that really mad you laugh, i remember watching these movies with my DAD who was laughing that hard it made him cry, which in turn made us laugh at him and then laughing at the movie as well, :)

They had so much fun making these movies (post Clint Eastwood's spaghetti westerns). Both films were very popular on their release. The speed is achieved by undercranking the scene, making it seem as if he has lightening fast reflexes.

I was 11 when this movie hit the theaters. One of days i can clearly remember in my childhood. Me and my brother were used to seeing john wayne westerns. We fell out of our chairs with laughter watching this movie. Been a trinity fan ever since. These guys were great. Westerns really got interesting with clint eastwood movies and the unforgettable Blazing Saddles that was the best slapstick western of all time.

Another thing is that his 4th ace was the second card that he drew. So if the fella with 4 sevens had decided to discard his 5th card hoping for a high card then the 4th ace would have been the first card trinity would have drawn. But without looking at it he knew where it was.

Just for the sakes of it these movies were completely Italian, with Italian actors (Terenzo Collina and Bruno Pedersoli AKA Terence Hill and Bud Spencer), interior scenes were all shot in Cinecittà-Roma and in both card trick scenes the hands are of 1970s Italian magician Tony Binarelli :-)

Oh boy, just remember how I was almost dying from laughter the first time I saw this movie! So great! The suspension is just uncomparable!
