You can get dependable and portable hot water when you’re away from the grid, with the clever and efficient Smarttek Black Hot Water System.
In this video, the Snowys crew headed down to the Brownhill Creek Tourist Park to set up the Smarttek Black Hot Water System right beside the creek. Ben starts off by showing you exactly what you get in the box, what replacements are available, shows you where all the attachments go, and gives you an overview of the specs.
He then sets it up on the separately available Smarttek tripod, attaches the gas bottle, tells you how to test it for leaks, connects the shower rose, inserts the batteries, attaches the pump, and connects it with the water source.
Then Ben gives you some advice on what settings to use in different conditions, the safety features that the unit has, and turns it on so you can see it in action - so watch above for all the details.
