Cid doing Cid things lol

So Compassionate indeed! Cid did save Yukime's life by healing her both now and years ago. My guess is that what Delta found was a stash of Gettan's drugs--the pills that the cult developed, Gettan was taking in this episode, and were a big feature in S1. Also, I'm happy to see accomplished what I think was the main benefit of what Cid was planning for this arc--the merger of Shadow Garden and Yukime's Lawless City organization. Anyways, this was another great story arc of The Eminence in Shadow imho. I'm looking forward to the next one.

I think that Cid has injured Gettan's one eye and his clan when he was the Stylish Slayer, and thus Gettan turned for the Cult and forced Yukime's clan to join too. Gettan slaughtered Yukime's clan and left Yukime with a back slash, and then Cid healed her (and left the old scar, but her healed new wound isn't scarred). Yukime then worked from being a prostitute to being the top of the White Tower. In the end, Yukime injured Gettan's other eye and decided to leave him alive, but Gettan got angered with the eye injury, so he slashed Yukime again. Only for Cid to beat him and heal Yukime again.

Cid won’t care if the garden disbands because he thinks the game ended years ago and they are humoring him as childhood friends would.
