So Hyang is one of the best vocalists in the world!

In Korea🇰🇷, there are many singers who respect African-American🇺🇸 music and sing well.

So Hyang is a vocal beast and her technique is flawless. Her and Dimash are the top 2 in the world in my opinion. I'd give you a recommendation, but any and all So Hyang performances are worth listening to, so you can really just choose whatever.

If I’m not mistaken, SO HYANG was diagnosed with cancer…after surviving the ordeal she saw her second chance at life as a gift from God and dedicated her voice/life to brining joy to others…she is a gospel singer who grew up singing in church and she rejected international fame choosing instead to sing only for Jesus and to raise money for charity. This is why I believe we feel so much from her singing...its from above and real.

I am a singer or Immortal songs but keep in mind first it is not amateurs she competes with it is other established singers in Koreas music industry many with insanely large fan bases as their agencies spend enormous amounts promoting them ... So Hyang being who she is even though she began 20 years ago has chosen not to sign with and agency or management company she is just a humble gospel singer .... and yet she manages to wipe out the competition nearly every time ... If it were not for these shows most of us international fans and many Korean fans would never have known who she is or have heard her amazing gift. Her popularity internationally is amazing mostly due in part to reaction videos like your own ... Just search KZfaq alone and you will find hundreds even thousands of reaction videos worldwide ... most have 20k and above views of unsuspecting people being left in shock and awe of the worlds best vocalist and becoming instant fans. So though she does not need these competitions I am forever greatful she does not avoid them ... Actually she started singing in church first and became famous as a gospel singer. At that time she wasn't famous in public much. she is 40 yrs old now and like last 5 years she became very famous. so that's why many people feel gospel & soul in her i guess.

Love your reaction. I was enjoying every verse along with you. You got the ears for good voices. You called it early. Sohyang approaches every performance ready to sing every time. There is no playing with her when it comes to singing. She's got everything you can look for in her singing: power, range, control, transition, runs, resonance...you name it. The most important thing about her singing is that she brings her heart in each and every performance. You will see that as you watch more of her amazing performances. one of the things that is amazing about her is that she has turned down offer after offer to record. Since her fight with cancer she became very religious an puts all her effort into uplifting songs. Since she does not have records every one of her performances you will see will be a LIVE performance, not a best take of a 1000 attempts at it, then dancing to it in a music video, Live with a band and a audience watching in amazement. Also if u continue watching her, there is a TV show in Korea called King of Masks. where professional singers (well known stars) wear a mask an compete against each of other. Like the Voice but everyone is a known artist. Odds are if you continue reacting to So Hyang you are going to see several of these. Because she did this show not to long ago, won 6 times, the most of any female performer ever. The reason she even went on the show was she was going to quit singing, because she was not sure people were still enjoying her singing any more.
