Yes, her voice is liquid gold. Not just her vocals but also her music knowledge is out of this world too, she knows how to make a song gives the feels, makes the meaning of it become alive, even the parts that not that alive, even in the original...

Thank you for the reaction. Sohyang's O Holy Night has no parellel. Her vocal control, those A5 - D6, heavenly head voice are so amazing and appropriate. The arrangement of her runs were done gracefully in support of the song, rather than distracting. One can feel the presence of divinity through her singing in this performance.

I think she is a queen of belting and mixing. LOVE her voice and ability to deliver this. This is my fav version of O holly night. XD Btw I agree with you 'It is better than perfect' thx for your react!

You can see from the extra video how she works with the orchestra and gets everything as SHE wants it. She is very professional, and wants each orchestra member to play it as she had intended, since most every song she sings, is her own arrangement. Most people do not see this part of her back stage a day before the concert, walking through and listening to everyone to make sure its perfect.

Have you heard Jackie Evancho when she was about 11? Here she is with David Foster from her Dream With Me in Concert video, singing Mi Mancherai, from the film Il Postino. I'm glad she didn't do the Mariah version. The voice type isn't compatible, her mix range is insane but range doesn't mean anything. Mariah for example could go an octave lower than So Hyang but let's face it compared to insanely deep bass vocalists that's like bragging about knocking out Mike Tyson... a cardboard cutout of Mike Tyson. Context matters. This version is engineered for her perfectly.
