I did the trilogy 100% but admit this is my favorite and most fun for me. It helps having both batmobile and fights,not very repetetive

3:40 you can return to the diner later for a riddler trophy, but the fun part is the cop you play as. Depending on what you do,his life changes. The toxin makes him go insane (filled with regret) if you shot someone, but if you didn't then he will eventually calm down.

It also changes the dialogue of the cops outside his cell the first time you’re in the GCPD

If you shoot someone he’s got a possibility of losing his badge, if you don’t, they just wait til he’s calm

You can also talk to the cop near the roof elevator as the main story progresses and the effects of the fear toxin start to wane, noting how his colleagues are avoiding him, but is appreciative that Batman at least is still listening to him talk :)

Side missions are very important in this game as you only get the real ending if you 100%. Also don’t save them for the end, they earn you useful upgrades.

this game is worth every 120% so definitely do it and the dlcs. a small tip is to interrogate every riddler informant (the green highlighted dudes and vehicles) you find as you go. it makes it WAAAY easier

You have to do that if you want to complete the game....only other way is with a guide but that takes longer and is more difficult

When knocking an enemy down you can pick them back up with RT + B and keep beating them down. Best thing ever.

So glad you're finally playing my favorite game in the series! Arkham Knight came out when I was 10 years old, and going from asylum/city/origins to this was amazing. Today I have over 200+ hours on steam and modding this game is a BLAST!

This is amazing! I’m excited to see you do the side missions. I’d also recommend the DLC stuff as well. The Arkham Episodes are cool and the Season of Infamy DLC adds new side missions with villains that aren’t already in the main game

You better complete all the side missions (including the Riddler stuff) in this game, because the true ending with the Knightfall protocol does not unlock until you complete it.

Most of the sides mission can Only be completed once You complete most of the main story so I recommend finishing the main story first Before doing the side mission

When I first played this I actually didn't shoot in the beginning scene because I knew the monsters were normal people. I also thought it wouldn't matter because he'd probably die anyway. I was only half right. They were regular people but his actions definitely have an impact. I only found out later online that the voicelines change depending on if you shoot or not. I was glad I didn't.

The game forces you to to get it before you can progress a certain mission, but it's fairly late game. SPOILERS below (incase he reads this) Navigating through the Arkham Knight's HQ requires you to get the REC gun, however the game never makes you get the freeze blast from the movie studios to my knowledge
