Brent Spiner got allot of flack about his Joker voice in Young Justice. I'm glad that didn't discourage him, I like his Joker. I put it #3 under Mark Hamill and Alan Tudyk.

Absolutely loved it! So much fun! This version of Gotham is a wonderfully frightening place to live in, yet our heroes retain a sense of hope and innocence, that's almost bordering on naivety (yet with Batman's stoic cynicism somehow fully intact). The PSAs and commercials were my favorite parts. SCARIEST Joker ever. Reminded me of Morrison/McKean's Arkham Asylum Joker. And finally - Miss Tuesday!! She has got to be one of my favorite Batman characters ever! This was such a delight!!!

SO happy to see you talking about this show! I finished it a couple weeks ago and immediately started relistening to it. Some of the best Bat-writing in awhile and a beautiful redemption for Spiner’s Joker. I’d give anything for a season two.

I know, in universe, it was mainly a TV show, but I would really like to see something like this made starring the Gray Ghost! It just would've been better if Adam West was still around, but I think it could still work. Who's with me?

@@CoralBlue-2 Lol! (😆) Yep, all true statements. It'd be kind of like "The Black Frieghter" animated movie that WB released, which was also in the "Ultimate" cut of "Watchmen" (2009). Both are in-universe franchises we'd be seeing/hearing the adventures of through some other media! It's a wild concept, but it's happened before!

Personally loved the show to me John leguizamo as riddler was the stand out and I would want a second season, but I did it really like robins voice it didn’t sound right.

I've listened to the first two episodes, which are free on Spotify (we don't get HBO Max in Australia) and I've read the comic. I think it's great, I really love the sound and style they've gone for. Hopefully one day I'll be able to hear the rest.

@@Ted-Kendrick Yeah, they really overhauled his design and I think his performance was a bit better there, too. Really wasn't a fan of his take, to be honest (and I know most people weren't either) so I was surprised they brought him back, as they've recast other major characters, such as Beast Boy in Season 3. Anyways, curious to listen to him, here.

For me, Miss Tuesday was the weakest link in the audio drama. Her voice grated on me. Plus I'm not a fan of the ditzy valley girl trope. Outside of that, I enjoyed most the cast.

Most of the cast voices are almost unrecognizable. They have very characterized voices. But also, a good deal of it is actually funny, so it works.

@@matt-ts1lc Yeah, I know a lot of these celebrities but didn't recognize their voices when lost in the show (even Chris Parnell, who I know primarily as a voice actor), but then Kenan Thompson would show up and it's like "Well, I definitely don't see Gordon in my head"

*sighs* Yet ANOTHER project where you don't see any of the actors in it, but the only people allowed it it aren't voice actors. That's right Watchtower, you shout out that starpower. That's what I want out of my audio drama, people who hired because of their live action work. You're a cartoonist, why would you want this?

@@dcauwatchtower Oh, I'll likely enjoy this too, and I thank you for bringing it up. it's just sad seeing someone in your field encouraging the practice of hiring a-list live action actors over professional voice actors on the level that you are. Don't you have any love for the voice work from people who actually focus on voice acting? Imagine if Yodas voice actor was rejected because he wasn't an a-list voice actor. Imagine if the voice actor behind Batman in The Animated Series was rejected as well, and they just went with some random person with star power who phoned the whole thing in? That's what you seem to be encouraging when you say that the best thing about this production is that it's voiced by all a-list actors.
