11:08 I know it's weird to say this, but this is kind of already implemented in the game. Using your tools example; when you upgrade a tooling workshop from iron to steel tools, you go from producing 60 to 80 tools, despite using the same amount of steel that you once did iron. You can't magically produce more tools from steel rather than iron; rather because the steel tools are better, which in this case means more durable, _in effect_ it acts like you produce more tools, since your tools will proliferate through longer, due to being able to be used more than the Iron tools. Rather than trying to track the durability of each individual tool, I think paradox decided to make steel produce more tools to simulate this quality difference accurately.

The quality of goods *is* modelled in Victoria 3, just indirectly. The devs specifically stated that the way they model quality is through quantity. Instead of having a ton of different good types, you just get a much higher amount of goods from the increases in PM, which models more uses per tool for example.

At 11:30 you talked about quality of good but they are taking into account if you think about it. The higher quality production methods for tools for example would in reality produce less tools for each person but more higher quality tools. In game however each production method increases production, as such you can view the quantity of tools produced not only a reflection of quantity but also quality.

As an Argentinian, this video makes me very happy (except for the border gore at the end). Can you make a video playing as Selknam? I thibk it would be interesting considering their position in Tierra del Fuego at the tip of South America.

For a challenge run I would recommend you do the Merina Kingdom which is modern-day Madagascar. The country as far as I am aware starts with the least technology of any playable nation in the game at a total of 3 techs researched. At game start you cannot build a single urban building because you don't have the technology for it. Additionally they are an island nation so you need a navy to expand but part of the problem is you got no iron as well. the only saving grace is you have a decent population size and plenty of coal and wood. If you actually get a navy there are plenty of iron mines nearby as well as lots of gold. I just don't really see how you get off the island.

I dunno how, but I called it that you would be forming the Federation of the Andes in your last Victoria 3 video on forming the HRE. And as a Platinean nation, no less. I was internally panicking at seeing you try to adopt Argentinian culture from the start, knowing it would break your formables, and seeing you save that at the last minute was kind of absurd. But now you have to do a part 2 where you clean up those godforsaken borders and expand into North America (incorporating at least one state therein) for that glorious "United Provinces of the Americas" renaming. Make that superpowered Mexico the final boss for a united Spanish America.

Fun fact there was an actual attempt by the Dutch to settle Southern Chile with the Dutch even managing to ally with the Mapuche but the Dutch abandoned the colony due to being afraid they would be beaten by the Spanish army and also had a food shortage so they left but yeah the Mapuche were considered an important ally due to also fighting against the Spanish since this was at the same moment the Dutch revolt took place

That quality of products should be used on weapons too, like in Victoria 2 if you have better guns researched you get bonuses on attack and defence. Its so awful to see how this time period that seen HUGE and fr HUGE leaps in gun manifuctering and new weapons technology in general are just put in different production methodes, there is huge difference betwine a musket and a bolt action rifle other then manifacturing
