Also many people who are lore watchers will tell you "read this item's description" or "this lore book" which you CAN do maybe, especially if there's a specific plot point that isn't immediately obvious. But doing so is definitely optional, especially later. Not because it's dumbed down, but because they figured out how to put the important part of the book in the quest and have it make sense.

i think you’re exaggerating with the web comic part, you can understand the entire prologue story without reading the webcomic. the comic just fleshes out the lore with vanessa + venti, which isn’t essential to understanding the prologue story contained in the game. i’d say it’s more essential to understanding collei and her relationship with amber

@@KillaKillaInsect He's not even trying to feign interest, I'm just describing what I'm seeing 😴 I don't care that he's playing the game, I've been watching him be completely ignorant to everything for almost 2 whole hours (I obviously didn't watch everything and I won't because I already understood his type, I had just left the video playing in the background to have some background noise and even then I got tired of his ignorant comments and his lack of interest) I also literally don't care if he's going to play more or not he decided to post this video so he's prepared to hear criticism and being called out I've seen other videos from people like him and these people at least tried to pretend to be interested just to farm some views for a few days
