Its so funny seeing philza slowly go from absolute fear to acceptance

Watching philza going from being terrified, to being mad at fundy for it being a pig, to being terrified again is just hillarious

You know what would have been more scary? If the dots on the blocks vanished after about a minute or so. You can have the entire map revealed to you with the non-vanishing dots, which is less scary, because you know where you're going. It also encourages using the lidar more, which may reveal monsters before they attack you. Which is scary.

I loved it when Fundy said “Let me make myself clear” and became transparent and renamed to Fundy Prime Truly one of the clarities of all time

If you guys like this video I can try my best to release the mod so people can make custom maps, very curious what you think! Let me know :D Edit: Using this as a kind-of blog -- I'm heavily working on making it super compatible for a lot of scenarios, and making it so that people can make custom maps for others to explore. Taking a tad longer than expected, but it's gonna come out someday!

My father was an army aircraft mechanic during desert storm, he worked on ov1 Mohawks which had a variant with a LiDAR

For getting rid of the pixels, just make it to where they disappear either when they go behind walls or if your too far from them.

At 1:19 (when you've explained lidar) : its not actually lidar, its called raycasting.

Very impressive! And an even more interesting choice of horror concept, the absence of information is popular because it exploits the fear of the unknown embedded in the human psyche. When something suddenly appears where there wasn't anything before, well... things get interesting.

You know, for the amount of times you’ve made Minecraft into essentially a completely different game, I’m truly surprised Mojang hasn’t hired or at least commissioned you yet. Yes that’s an overused compliment, but your skills are phenomenal. I’ve seen entire teams of people do much less work than you do in each of your videos, in a longer period than your upload schedule. So that goes to show how much genuine, nose to the grindstone effort you put in to each one. On that note, thank you so much for taking the time to make these videos. They’re always incredibly entertaining to watch.

This is seriously amazing horror game concept. I doubt it hasn't been done before, but this is my first time experiencing it and I’m floored.

At first I wasn't really into coding and stuff, but since I watch your videos I LOVE IT

Now add a Fallout difficulty where Ambience can be heard on the surface such as a random metal doors closing, minor chords playing whenever you see a dead corpse of a villager, explosions in the distance and Air Sirens going off. All of the music is replaced with harsh wind blowing and the player games 30 extra hearts the second layer of hearts are orange which means that they can take one heart of damage before turning into a red the pattern goes along starting at Green going down to yellow, going down to orange, and going down to Red finally. The player starts off with iron armor, and a crowbar. There is now game over music that plays as menu music because the world is already destroyed. The rest is up to you, Fundy.

this reminds me of a game i used to play as a kid, it definitaly was NOT a horror game though. i think it's awesome to see how the same concept can be used for something serene, but also something so scary. Your videos are awesome. (the game is called the unfinished swan for anyone who was wondering)

I recently moved to Linux Mint 20.3 for Nvidia 340 drivers, got Minecraft installed, and setup with OpenJDK 17 as default with Optifine. So now, I'm playing Minecraft 1.19.4 with the Stay True texture pack and Tea shaders fully optimized to have seamless performance as stock Minecraft. Apparently what tanks the FPS is the SSAO and that awful night vision by default, and I set the resolution scale to either .5 or .6 on my 900p laptop screen and I can render 6 chunks fine and 3 chunks in the Nether but the shader allows me to actually see the distance. This is what an NVS 2100M can do people! Geforce 210 users can get a similar experience.

Fundy make a mod where if a friend or someone leaves your world you'll still see theyre skin and it will follow you till ,behind trees, outside of windows (kinda like the cave dweller when you look away it dissapears from where its standing) until your friend logs back in (idea from a minecraft creepypasta)

Hey, Fundy! I've been thinking about something that might interest you. Now, we have already seen you code all kinds of things, including an entire computer and that got me thinking... Are you able to code a mobile phone? Now, you could technically do the same thing as you did with the computer using blocks to build one big device but, no, no, no. That's stinky and we don't want that. Besides, where's the tortu- I mean, 'fun' in that? See, the main thing about a mobile phone is that it is mobile. That means that one should be able to carry it around. But my terrible idea doesn't stop there. Making a mobile phone is more difficult than making a computer since a phone has a touch screen instead of a keyboard which has all kinds of fancy buttons. What that means, is that the player can only use the phone via the mouse because it controls the arm/hand of your character. Isn't that just lovely? Have fun. :) Oh, what's this? You don't want to code it because it is all too difficult. Well... See, I've always wanted a fox fur carpet...

This is some really neat coding work! 7:30 It's cool that you disabled movement... but why _did_ you go through that effort? The original Scanner Sombre let you screw up the pattern of the sweep by moving around, and that worked fine. :P

It doesn't render through, it renders on top. It's the last thing to be drawn on screen, hence, it's always on top.
