Im gonna get flamed for this but I always thought devour hope to be sort of a "Mr nice killer" perk Because it rewards you for stepping away from a recently hooked survivor and generally not camping.

7:12 I know it's not the focus of this playstyle to play super super well, but with your Brown Wrap Trapper addon, I bet you could've walked right through your trap there, disarming it, to catch up to the Mikaela faster at shack, since she already knew about that trap anyway. I think that actually would've made up the distance for a hit.

I think it would be interesting to see you play with detrimental build- perks that are known to hinder your objective and compare that to your no-perk experiment. You could run Dying Light, Distressing, Unnerving Presence, and a fourth

I think when that dude from the Wraith match said "bullied," he meant getting one-sidedly beaten in the game, which you were on a fast track to doing. Of course, more likely is that he was talking about how you didn't stop attacking him when he stopped and started pointing, but you can't just expect to turn every lobby "friendly" by quitting chase. Some people want to play the game, you know?

Around Christmas a while back, I'd play a "Mr. Nice Guy" build where every perk would give the survivors something. Dark Devotion gave my obsession my terror radius. Dying Light gave my obsession increased action speed. Hex: Thrill of the Hunt gave survivors bonus points for a not too threatening Hex. Hoarder gave survivors 2 extra chests.

The trickster match though... it's one of the most tense moments I've ever experience on DBD, awesome match! Much Love!

I prefer my unstoppable killer build. Lightborn Enduring Spirit fury Brutal strength Not the greatest build, but it's fun when survivors realize they can't stop you.

I think an even nicer build would be swapping Pop with Hex: Devour Hope because it incentivises not camping

3:38:52 I'm more pissed off about a killer running Rancor than I am NOED. Went against a Spirit with both and they camped from 2 gens and for the rest of the game. It was pain because I wasn't hooked and someone escaped as soon as they saw noed. Granted we were sent to Eyrie of Crows by either the spirit or the guy who left early. So I ended up just standing there staring at the spirit from the exit gate as the guy who was slugged kept crawling while another was on hook. Absolutely tragic.

This is actually super close to my build, except I run Corrupt Intervention instead of Grim Embrace. All in all, actual flexibility of builds like these is great. You get info, slowdown, endgame that can actually clutch it up, and more bloodpoints!

So much GrimEmbrace discussion so let me end it once and for all. I have hereby decided, that the best possible form of Grim Embrace is that it blocks all gens for 15 seconds when you hook the obsession + 10 seconds per unique survivor hooked before the obsession. Allowing you to stop the game for a total of 45 seconds, if played good and an alarming 55 seconds if played _PERFECTLY_ by switching obsessions through a calculated DS or a not so calculated but more W' keyed Nemesis (for anyone not really paying attention reading this. Nemesis the perk. Not the killer.) This could align Nemesis more with other perks in terms of usage and elevate it from it's niche use as an almost exlusive archive perk. Also, this version of GrimEmbrace synergizes well with PlayWithYourFood, which sadly is also rarely seen. Except for on the BubbaTrain (which never stops btw). In theory, this change would make you invest time spent unoptimaly by going for a target which technically is in a better spot to run you than the obsession. Letting the obsession do as they wish. But then cash out big time by almost, in it's most literal sense, pausing the game for up to 55 seconds. Precious time in which you can do whatever you want. Chase, sweat, getting rid of the Boon that has been granting them near God status. Maybe go make a coffeé. However you like. Though in practice it probably just leads to the obsession being slugged to death and milked for seconds. I just now realized that this is basically reverse-kinship. Thanks for reading.

NOED rework? When the last generator is repaired, NOED activates. Hooking any survivor, results in them immediately being sacrificed. NOED is then deactivated. or One time per trial, if any exit gate is open, hooking a survivor will close it. or Exit switch progress regresses over 8 seconds.

I believe the main difference about outcome of those matches and the matches ppl experience on average is that you don’t waste almost not a bit of time. We all know for average surv team to do “good” not “best” is to just hop on a gen every chance each of them get. If they do, they are effective, otherwise they are much easier pray. But for the killer to be same time effective requires much much more skill, and you have it, but most of audience not. You predict where to go how much time they will spend etc etc. And all the survivor needs to predict is listen to TR or have a spine chill, better.
