Met my wife at 23 she was 22, asked her after 5 months to marry me. We lasted 11 years before I lost her to cancer. Waited 2 years to get life in order, met a new woman and was married in 6 months, been married for 9 years. Men that want to married act on it first, no playing around, no games. I am 44 now and I am already teaching my 13 year old son how it is supposed to work with women and most importantly family legacy, continuing the family name.

Maybe u lucky u met good women. But getting married in 5months doesn't work for everyone. Same as getting married in 7yrs. Women these days are capricious. I won't propose in 5months only to divorce 2yrs later. This approach can work in d olden days where women were submissive and most marriages were even arranged

@kanuk the hunter You have to travel, get out and see the country if you can't travel abroad yet. Enterprise rent a car for a week and just go. One thing people have a misconception of is that you need a lot of money to travel, you really don't if you plan it right. I was 20 years old in Cali my self at one time and drove my busted car at the time through 15 states over a two week period just to see the country and meet people. You have to start young.

@kanuk the hunter great now it's time to experience the other 195 countries in the world and you will completely see a different type of woman than you see here in the U.S. I have only been to 17 of them but there is a vast difference in the women, how they look, how they behave, how the interact socially and how they are raised. Grab a globe, spin it and put your finger on a country, save for it and go check it out, you will see what I am talking about. My wife is Australian, I found her in a small town south of Sydney during a visit for work. If you don't want to deal with the women in the U.S. there are plenty of women elsewhere that will.

Yeah.... and notice the outcomes of the women without that particular form of "toxic masculinity" in their life. They're surrounded by chaos and according to them, they're surrounded by bad men and toxic masculinity. No, they just can't tell the difference between masculinity and toxic behaviour, because they're one and the same to them, it is how they absolve themselves of all of their outcomes.

Thus being a match with the so called "bad boy" who's also filled with strife and drama. She's just a "bad girl." This is an aspect of the game I think is often overlooked & not considered when these discussions come up. Why, I don't know. @@AH-ph3cb The reality is, it doesn't help that nobody teaches you about men and nobody teaches you about your own nature either. Female hypergamous filters will eliminate most men in a room, which will leave *most* women focusing in one a very, very small group of men in a huge group of men. We see it in high-school and that guy sleeps with all of the girls. He follows his primarily sexual strategy, because he can get it in with no commitment. This feminist womanist stuff assumed off the bat, men and women are equal and both want the same things. Somewhere in the middle this is true, but at the margins this isn't true. Men at the margins are the ones the women pick and you dance to their tune, not the other way around. And that's confusing because all of the other men dance to your tune.

The devil is out to reverse the roles of men & women, and this is why we see women acting as we do.

@@jasminegrisson5847 Yes and no. Overall I was toxic, combative, aggressive, had my way or the highway mentally. But I did know I was wrong; I didn't need Mr. Samuels to tell me this since the Quran describes evil behaviors. However, what Mr. Samuel did was give the history of how Black women got to this point. History is a subject I love 💕. Now, with historical data, I had more than enough, and I deem myself an enemy. In the Quran, there's an ayat interpreted as ‘ask those who know.’ the truth is the truth. Mr. Samuel doesn't know everything, but he knows what he is speaking about. I take what is beneficial and leave off what is not. However, the beauty of Islam is that it's this information is there; over 1400 years ago, warning women reminding us of our natural, the good and evil. There's an entire surat titled An-Nisa’ (The Women).

I'll say this. I LOVE MY WIFE. I proposed at about the 8mo mark. We're still married (approaching 5 years in) and pushing this loaded cart forward. DON'T DO IT THAT WAY lol. Build the relationship in a way that fits the growth trajectory of BOTH individuals. The biggest and scariest commitment of love that two people could EVER make to each other, aside from having a family together, is to GO TO COUNSELING TOGETHER. Fellas, if you're SERIOUSLY looking for a wife and think you've found a woman that checks the initial boxes, invite her to a therapy session. If she's reluctant, and not excited, MOVE HER ASS AROUND. Ladies, this is something you can encourage too! Either you want to bear your naked truths and grow together or you don't. Anyone that's dating and hasn't creatively or constructively tried to get to know the person deep down within is a person that is eager to crank the jack for a surprise...Over and over again. There is great nourishment in honesty. People don't wanna know the truth about THEMSELVES a lot of times though...So, they fail one another in the end. DON'T FAIL EACH OTHER. Take whatever time is necessary and BE CONSISTENT in your pursuit of health TOGETHER. You'll never fail if you ALWAYS care.

Good mentality to have considering your goal of marrying in your prime, which ends at circa 28 for most women. This said, your terms and condition might mean you might need to expand the age scope of men you date to much older ones. Maybe up to 40 year old men. I would never advice any son of mine to marry in his 20s. He needs to be enjoying as much women as possible during that age. He should marry when he is 34+.

The audacity of some women wanting to cancel the show when it gives some of the best advice that anyone could ask for… And it’s for free! Keep on Mr. Samuels!! I may not agree with everything you say, but more people should be thanking you than disparaging you

I’m married but it’s no way on earth I would have married my wife in 6 months. Sounds great and makes sense for woman not to waste time as my wife and I discussed while watching vids but that’s faaaar to early. Now after a year of living together this makes sense but who meets a woman and moves them in 6 months later? The earliest I would marry if I was looking would be 2 years. Marriage is huge and life long for me. Getting things right and building our dream home takes longer than 6 months, and that’s just bricks and design. I do agree for woman though. I’d tell my daughter the same. Even though they won’t follow it exactly they shouldn’t be too far off. 7 years is outrageous. She killed her high market value time. Salute

Disagree with Kevin on this one- even if you're born in America, if your parents come from a different country then the likelihood is high that you will grow up between American culture but still heavily influenced by the native culture of your parents as well. It doesn't just melt away because the couple immigrated to the United States and of course that's how they will raise their children as well.

I agree with Kevin. I met my husband when I was 21 and he was 30 on 12/08/93. We got married on 02/25/94. We will be celebrating our 27th anniversary next month. My sister met her husband in 09/90 and she married him in 12/90. The just celebrated their 30th anniversary. My parents met in 1969 and they were married a little over a year later. It would have been sooner but my dad got stationed to Korea. All three men knew within a month that we were the one. This is not to rush anyone but these are just examples. I always tell young men, if you are not ready for marriage don’t let anyone force you into marriage but at the same time don’t string a woman along. Kevin is right 7 years is insane but the blame falls on a woman.

@ The Dog Star is Sirrius. Its spoken about in many ancient histories concerning the origin of our progenitors. Mayan, Dogon, Egyptian, Sumerian/Old Testament. Im 52 yrs old and have plenty of Nigerian friends. You are postulating the wrong-headed idea that many African/African Americans have that they can confidently tell the difference between an African American and an African, ESPECIALLY a second generation (+) African. People's appearances are greatly affected by environment and mentality you know. Are you aware of that? In short, you would have never known she was of Nigerian ancestry if she didn't share that info. I wasn't trying to be disrespectful. Its just cute or sad how this erroneous idea is so widely held. I've heard it and tested people to try to guess the backgrounds and tell who's African. Everyone who thinks they can do it has failed when put to the test in real life. My Nigerian acquaintances swear out I look like a Yoruba or Ibo when they meet me because I don't carry myself in "typical" AA manner. My DNA report says 27% Nigerian. Lol. @Big Will We should not conflate "knowing someone" with "knowing their intentions". In other words, she might not be the right "product" for a man, but she must ascertain that he is in the market to "buy" and not for endless "sampling". Beyond that, the time frame is subjective and arguable. The main thing is the intentions. Stay blessed.

This episode actually made me fell a little bit better about myself. When my first wife got pregnant after 3 months (although in my mind I already wanted to end it, before that) I proposed, wanting to do the right thing. When this marriage ended, I KNEW what I lost and what I ultimately really wanted and went into the next thing with that in mind. I met my 2nd wife online and we told each other what we wanted, it seemed to be a perfect match and the deal essentially was done before we ever met. Because of my outcomes I always thought, that was stupid and naive and I rushed things, because I never vetted the women properly. Still holds true, I guess - But I knew, what I wanted!
