Right? I can't imagine the meetings that went into that. Plenty of power, check. Acceptable ground clearance, check. AWD, check. No way to apply power and AWD system when you need it the most due to idiotic traction control system, check. 😆

Trail mater is one of my favorite KZfaq channels, exactly because of videos like this one. Great to watch the crew and Rory helping people out. Shout-out to Justin the editor - I like to see recognition for those guys. Mike, excellent humor along the guey as always. Sean as well. No trail repairs this time. I picture a Utah PSA about respecting trails featuring trailmater, respecting water boundaries and codes from FABrats, and air space restrictions and landing spots featuring GravityKnightFlying Just saying the important things to remember in order to respect natural space means a lot.

Love the thought of it darker GM Green and White! I had a '73 4x4 K25 I restored in '14 that was "Green" on the build sheet. NO METALLIC...people loved it as they hadn't seen it in decades. Hope this is similar, and with the white, Awesome!

I love that you will talk about your mileage for Blue but you are not complaining. It is what it is. I drive a 21’ Power wagon for what it does, not the mileage and so many people buy them and are like what can I do to get better mileage lol. I’m working on my wife to take a trip from Ok to go to your neck of the woods to enjoy the area you get to experience every day. Keep up all that you do!!!

I read that the BLM is closing 370 miles of trails near MOAB end of Oct 2023. Sad that such desolate country that is a playground for many will now be closed by Lieberal Tree Huggers.

Ol'Blue should look good for a while. Going off trails is common across both Canada & the U.S. with no regard for the area damage. This is why trails are being closed off. Thanks for sharing.

@@ajaxracing That's true... therein lies the problem. Before long, the whole area gets closed down and no one can use it. Unfortunately, consideration/appreciation and good judgement are all too rare. 😏

@@MrGaryGG48 they tell people to stay off the bushes and certain areas are fenced out to help preserve the natural rocks and stuff my local area is ocotillo wells and plaster city not much to damage out there and the washes always change from the rains and we always pack in pack out of course

@@ajaxracing I have seen that to be true. Many of the off-road folks I've seen have trash bags hanging from the back of their rigs and make a point of collecting what they encounter. They really do appreciate the access to the hills and the desert and make the effort to care for them.

Those original Chevy green colors were great for those years. Also the sheatmetal was thicker stronger than newer trucks. Bluegreen is gonna look nice.
