Been following your reaction videos for a while now, been enjoying your content of watching others, especially when you've done some max0r content. Its kinda awesome seeing your character development of being completely overwhelmed by his content to just about managing it...! I would highly recommend Max0r's covering of "Elden Ring". You can guess what the community post responded 7:03 that is the song “Talk about luv” from Goddess of Victory: Nikke’s second summer event minigame. All I've been able to piece together about the plot of cruelty squad is that resurrective immortality has been discovered, thus making life literally worthless, so your assassination targets are just to annoy them and inflict pain. And there's three endings, one for killing the concept of death, one for... becoming one with the concept of capitalism or something, and one where you kill the concept of life and reboot the universe to stop it from becoming a decaying undead husk anymore than it already was. And I have absolutely ZERO idea what was real dialogue and what was maxor dialogue.

I'd also recommend watching the Pyrocynical video on this game. It's over 4 hours long but it's *really* in-depth going into every weapon, every level, the lore, etc. He even flew to Finland to interview the creator.

Imagine a world where, thanks to advancements in biotechnology, everyone is practically ageless, and can bring people back to life with just a 5,000$ procedure. Imagine now that same world being hyper-capitalistic, putting profit above pretty much EVERYTHING else, with human experimentation, slavery, mass sacrifices and such being considered perfectly normal. Imagine people, now practically immortal, throwing themselves into endlessly grindy pursuits like gambling, fishing entire oceans, addiction, stock trading, or collecting Funko Pops - but nothing makes them really happy; it just drives them to grind even more. Imagine a world where, if you're a corrupt manager, your higher-ups will send a death squad after you - but that's fine, since you can just pay the fee to come back to life afterwards. Now imagine all of that, but made it look like an absolute sh!tpost, with eye-hurting graphics, janky gameplay, and a "lore" that can out-Max0r Max0r himself. THAT is what "Cruelty Squad" is.

7:41 It's unfortunately not as simple as that. In the Cruelty Squad world death is meaningless as it's cheap to get revived, so if the name is accurate to the purpose of that building then that means children are being torn apart indefinitely. For no reason probably.
