Wow seems like Boker got the memo. Fantastic pricing for a German made knife. Good work this year. If they heat treat it competitively these will sell. Personally can’t wait to see some Vox designs out of this new lineup.

So they go from all D2 to now tons of Magnacut with what seems like really good pricing. Maybe it's time to look at Boker again. But one question, How is the heat treat?

I have the same thoughts. My spyderco native 5 in magnacut is amazing so far. Spyderco heat treat is awesome

Rose gold is probably PVD coated. I've PVD coated damascus a couple times and I have no idea why it hasn't caught on yet. The pattern is very visible but protected by the coating (more of a concern for high carbon damascus) and it changes the color of each layer

Dang! Those modernised Barlow look freaking good. The Ti is up there with the Jack Wolf Knives take on traditionals. That Kwaiken button lock, spicy too.

Industry standard shouldn’t be $150 minimum price and if it is the industry standard then that makes it no longer premium and there for should be priced as so

Thanks for being on top of the knife game! Saw this video 4 hours ago and just pre-ordered the BFF Packlite four times. Been eyeballing the new Benchmade Altitude v2 now but I'm still not a fan of S90V or the altitudes shape, but the weight is still good (55g). The BFF Packlite comes in Magnacut and is even lighter (31g!!!) while barely sacrificing half an inch of cutting edge. Literally a dream come true.

Boker always puts out some great looking knives. If they would just get their QC nailed, they’d sell way more knives. There has been at least 4 higher end Boker knives that I can think of that I really liked the designs of and when I got them, they had QC issues. 3 out of the 4 were off centered and the edges on all 4 were wonky. The 4th one had the blade tip sticking out quite a bit. Enough to grab/cut my skin when I would reach in the pocket to take the knife out. I am still a fan of Boker but usually only buy them on the secondary because I can ask the buyer if there are any QC issues.

The AK1 is a phenomenal edc pocket fixed blade. I carry mine for almost one year now and absolutely love it.

I'm telling you right now, I'm buying *everything* Magnacut in this new lineup from Boker. Let's put it this way, I have everything Buck has made in Magnacut and my EDC is a Hogue Deka in Magnacut. It slices for days. And it's probably going to be replaced on my belt by a Boker button-lock in Magnacut. I lived in Germany for 12 years back in my Army/DOD Civilian/Contractor days and Boker is very well-known there in its home country.

That EDK save for the Magnacut blade and boton , axis lock? lock is exactly a copy (even in the dimensions) to my ($14) Master USA AU-A094S, Before anybody jumps in their seats, I know "Magnacut" is built to be the "Dragon Slayer" blade metal but for the normal use I put it through the only difference would be that I might have to strop it a little more often! One more thing... The Masters clip is definitely better than that one!

FYI, it isn’t 24 parts to make one knife. It’s parts, accessoried (mat / microfiber cloth …..) so once you complete the knife, you have spare parts, and a few other things. Love the magnucut
