Another major thing holding HC back imho is the fucking atrocious timer of named mobs. Nothing says I'm having fun like either waiting 30+ mins or hoping on another character and checking back from time to time.

If you're challenging enough to make me lean in... That alone I would consider a victory for my opponent ...win or lose

Disconnect here, Other players, Unlucky crits and misses, Bugs and Glitches and on and on and on... There are many things you can do to prevent your own death, and just as many out of your control.
