Yes! I like the idea of a central area you operate out of rather than a series of towns, but there are definitely times I'd love to just jump from one area straight to another without having to to cut back through town!

@@Gone4Everx I suspect the same. That's when it "rolls" for outbreaks and satchels and that sort of thing. Still, there are times when it would be nice to allow you to jump one area to another directly, even if that skips some of that (outbreaks won't spawn until you go back through town or whatever).

Literally, trying to do a balloon race and having the camera go all "look at this cool scenery" when I'm trying to look where I'm going is an absolute pain. Moving sprint to L3 at least would free up the thumb to move the camera back into place

@@Rohebat i have one of those controllers with buttons on the back and i put the spint button for them on that and it helps but even being free to use the stick to fight the camera its still annoying

Fill 4 pastures and go to the lady by the pastures. You can individually select pokemon with X and then mass release them.

@@gstellar96 The original looks prettier. Same for the textures. Sure, the number indicating the texture resolution might be lower on he original but that does not equal better looking. All the graphics mods here look horrid except the draw distance.

@@Pulliii I was breaking some of the early game by spamming the the + button to dismount an mount during jumps. It allowed me to pop above ledges Wyrdeer was not able to with a normal jump. lol

Modders generally add QOL features to a lot of games that the devs themselves didn't think of. It's nothing really new.

Okay can I paint a picture for a moment? Modders have had around 2 weeks to develop these graphical mods, Nintendo has been working on arceus for years. For their visual mod to be just as good if not slightly better in a two week span and Nintendo can’t even make arceus as graphically sound as the game they literally built the world off of (breath of the wild) is saying a lot bud.

Agreed, the first two were unimpressive. If they hadn't been labeled, I wouldn't have known which was vanilla and which was modded

@@SnackClip It's always easier to make modifications to something than building it from the ground up. But I do commend the modders and am happy everyone can appreciate this game the way they want.

yes was going to say this, i want a mod wher the pokemon follo you, cant be that damn hard right? And, it could also auto trigger battle with pokemon, so you wouldnt have to worry about getting obliterated from an off-screene pokemon that just hates your entire bloodline, instead, the pokemon thats following you around, will engage in battle to defend you. That would be nice.

@@Kugrox thats..incredibly hard. Youd need to reverse engineer how battles start, models work, how walking and positions work, timings, its a mess

@@xpok3947 not when gamefreak already has all of the animations done, wouldn't be the first time a Pokémon game has reused animation literally just need to port walking animations from swsh and the auto battle would actually work better because it would skip the throw animation

I don’t mind the graphics personally. I know it looks like I booted up a GameCube, but it’s the Nintendo Switch we are talking about. It can’t even run MarioKart 64 Online properly. Honestly makes me worry about Bayonetta 3 on the harsh FPS drops like Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity.

@@denrise3113 ….. the hell you talking about, Zelda is it’s own thing that took over 10 years to make and is more an art style thing rather than graphics. Monster hunter rise is more so just high bloom, rise will like incredibly better on pc. That’s not to say the graphics aren’t bad here because they are (you can literally see them rush the graphics for all diamond clan outfits.)

I don't think the current mods enhance it that much beside the removal of weird reflection, the texture are a big issue but it is not the only problem. There is core issues that no amount of layered painting can hide. Just going to coastal map, at the tip of the cliff thing that separate the two beaches, the edge of it that has holes, plus the caves entrances, are a different type of rocks/model. This is probably what the cliff in its entierety was supposed to look like, but they instead had to rush it and just keep the uggly mountain mess with seam textures that you can even see it connect with the ground, because they got crunched. I like to show botw screenshot to remind people that nice visual are possible and the switch might not be a pc or a ps5, but it can hold itself, games that get rushed cut corners, including optimisation, instead they will remove stuff to balance the issues because they don't have time. Even without grass/vegetation or physic , botw looks better than arceus. The map itself has better structure and is not just one plane with different elevation. Steep mountains like in arceus are usually, in other games, modelled apart of the ground , since they are so vertical. There is so many mountains and such in arceus you would have thought it would have been a priority visually. Its a shame they didnt give them more time, because gameplay wise the game is fun

Gamefreak. If Nintendo was handling the visuals, we wouldn't be complaining about it.

I'm worried as what Nintendo and GameFreak would do to the modders as they made a better PLA modifying the original code.
