It's mind boggling sometimes how simple creating a cool transition in DaVinci Resolve can be; in today's tutorial, we are looking at how to create a morph cut or transition in DaVinci Resolve by following just a few simple steps! While creating the transition itself can be fairly straightforward, the key here to creating a great morph transition is the footage itself, ideally you'd want to have similar looking clips that can be blended into each other well. We will also look at how to replicate a transition easily once you created it!

Reminds me to take a closer look at the effects thats inside DVR. Most of the time i use them without fine tuning - thanks :)

I hear ya. There are some interesting built in effects in DVR and with just a bit fine tuning, it could turn out really nice : )

Hi! Great tutorial, it looks so easy! Is there also an option to do this morph transition on multiple photo's in one frame? Like a row of multiple faces that transition to new photo's of those faces? (also is it free? :x )

hi, thank you! first of all, yes, it is 100% free, I make everything on the free version : ) regarding the multi photo piece, i don't think there is a specific option for it, but you can set up all the photos in a 1 frame using a compound clip or something, that should work.
