Stevie Nicks’ voice is easy to pick up in the background. Lindsey Buckingham produced, played guitar and sang backup on the song as well. Egan returned the favor to Buckingham by appearing as one of the guitarists in Lindsey’s “Trouble” video.

Yep, came here specifically to mention that !!! Great minds ... Update: Let me correct my original post because I left something out or not defined fully. I KNEW it was Stevie, Lindsey and the girl in the video singing backing vocals, that Lindsey was playing the guitar (also not in the video), and that they weren't present (on to better things) for it, but I STILL can't pick their vocals out of the mix. I can kind of say, the female voices COULD include Stevie's voice, but it's not immediately identifiable like it always was in Fleetwood Mac, regardless of whether she was the lead or background vocalist.

This song is ABOUT Stevie Nicks. Egan had a huge crush on her. When she broke up with Lindsey, Egan approached her, but she wasn’t interested. She did befriend him, and sing backup on some songs, but they never dated. Lindsey produced this and played on it. It was a huge hit, but a bit of a heartbreak for Egan. Both Lindsey and Stevie sang on this.

I remember years after his hit, Egan was on Jeopardy and during the introduction he said he had a hit in the 70's with this and Alex was like, that's nice, it was like no one ever heard of it. I knew him immediately having grown up in the 70's and, spoiler alert, he didn't do very well on the show, but I will never forget this sweet, beautiful song.

Walter has been writing songs for several musicians. Including with Eminem where he helps put musical hooks to lyrics. Doctor Dre is a fan and friend. He has also remained around the Fleetwood Mac camp since 1977. Helping them compose the marching band section of Tusk for the USC marching band to perform on the recording. That section has remained with USC and several high school and college marching bands since then.

What a beautiful song and what great memories are stirred by it! In the Summer of 1978, I was seeing a young man who I was incredibly attracted to and this song resonated with me so much. I was attracted to him like a magnet is to steel. But I was seventeen and naive. He broke my heart into a million pieces. This song always brings back memories of that guy I thought I would never be able to live without. "With you I'm not shy to show the way I feel. With you I might try my secrets to reveal. For you are a magnet and I am steel."

It’s like we’re hearing them new all over again. These lesser known songs are killing the good roll you were on. NOTE: Not saying these songs aren’t good, just that most of us are hearing them for the 1st time with you. That goes against the reason we watch reaction videos.

BOOGIE NIGHTS soundtrack!! so many great tunes. I love how "lonely boy" leads right into "fooled around and fell in love"! both songs go together in an excellent way, but more importantly, I love the story telling that the songs do for those moments. also LOVE the use of Roberta Flack's "compared to what" in the montage with amber/roller girl-let's take a pottery class/I want you to be my mom, buck tries to get a loan from the bank, dirk and reed fight to get the tapes with "the magic" on them. so much good music in that film.

Jay and Amber, I know you're not too familiar with it, but this song is done in a flavor similar to the sweet malt-shop teen music of the 1950s. (some of my favorite music) You'll notice that those dancers during the guitar solo were dressed in 1950s style clothes. Plaid skirts and Bobbie socks and pony tails etc. And the old vintage 1950's Juke Box they show at the beginning and end. Love it!
