I fought for disability for over three years from a back injury. I lost almost everything I collected from 1978. But I would say statues and action figures are what always collect. But I finally got my disability taken care of and hopefully can start all over again. It’s been hard seeing my prized possessions disappear from my life but hopefully I can find things to replace them. Keep the videos coming love them all

Great vid Gem! Always interesting to hear what others are collecting. For me, it's mostly Omni's. Been working chronologically from the Silver Age and have now collected and read most of that period (love me some Stan Lee). My budget is pretty limited these days, can only afford 1-2 omni's a month, so will be a while before i get to my 90's nostalgia fix 😂

I'm the guy in my group of friends that gets all of the collectables they no longer want to haul around. So I have a little of everything from 1990 to now. TCG's, Board games, Statues, Comics etc. Currently I'm only collecting comics and vinyl consistently. Everything else is hit or miss. I envy your statue collection. I have a lot from the 90's till now. I remember being bummed that I missed the first 2 Bowen Statues (Sandman & Batman). But did get onboard with Lobo and the several that followed, i.e. Seinfeld Superman. Statues these days, the ones you show... are very daunting. I would love to have the space to display everything, but currently all but 2 are in storage. Fun video... thanks ;)

I’m reading a lot of new comics. I’m actually on the hunt for some ratio variants of Titan Comics’ Conan the Barbarian run, by Jim Zub. Titan is also publishing the old Marvel Conan Comics in Omnibus format, so I’ll be collecting those as well. I’m back also on the Spawn train from Image. As for statues, I did purchase the Redemption Spawn statue from McFarlane Toys (currently sold out). I have a poster of that comic cover that the statue is based off. The statue itself looks great in my opinion.

A lot of interesting stuff that ppl collect. Im here for it. I remember when I first decided to start collecting something about 7 years ago and it happened to be omnis. I wanted to start reading comics again and wanted to find a way to read complete runs. That's when I heard the term omnibus. Life has never been the same. Lol. I figured I would start with my favorite comics from the 90's being X men. I thought to myself "lets start here and get ALL of it." I didn't know what I was in for. Well here I am, and as of last month I have every X men omni released and even hunted down the tpb's of stuff not released in omni form like road to onslaught. (Don't do it they'll make an omni.) I really enjoy it though and it's great to have some of the best of the best of all these runs in omnibus format.

I've been collecting the Santa Cruz/MARVEL screaming hand collaboration decks. If you are a Comics collector and a Skater they are AWESOME! If you haven't seen them check them out. Hard to get and they are not cheap! The only one I haven't been able to acquire is the Venom deck and I don't think I'll ever be able to find one.

For me, been slowly selling off my books. I read my weekly comics, list them. I enjoy collecting anime figures, manga, and hardcovers. I also enjoy buying Pokemon cards and selling those. Lorcana is up there too. Lorcana is Disney's TCG and about the 3rd most popular TCG.

My son and I have been getting into the Pokémon Lego statues. They have mechanical parts inside we build to make the Lego Pokémon move! It’s pretty sweet! We just finished the Butterfree, and my son and I decided right then and there which one we were getting next 😂

I had a moment where I made the mistake of adding up what the costs of an ongoing I had been buying added up to when I got to a "break" in the story because it was underwhelming and I just kept buying it hoping it would get good. After that I had to re-evaluate some spending and am shifting my shrunken pull list back into manga for the moment.

Move away from statues collecting for two years. Now I am collecting memories✈️ I have use that statue money for traveling. In this two years I have visited Dubai, Paris, Colombia, Thailand and Santorini Greece. With more to come. I still enjoy watching what new statues are coming.

I sold my comic collection ,in 2 different sets, Marvel & Batman. I kept my personal favs and will continue to collect or recollect really special issues. I shifted hobbies, I wanted something more interactive so I'm dabbling in Remote Control vehicles, mostly dirt track vehicles, and by dabbling I mean I already have 3 different vehicles for 3 different reasons...lol but I think its fun. We'll see what the future holds...

As far as books I started off Collecting the Conan Novels, I got probably 80% of them, But recently I have started collecting TPB comics but interested in getting into Omnibus's. Its easier for me to justify grabbing a 20$ TPB instead of grabbing a 75-100$ omnibus, And I haven't found many that are less than a 100 that im interested in sadly

I've been collecting comics in single issues for the last 30 years. I keep all my videogames and consoles since I was a teenager too. Started collecting Warhammer 9 years ago when Age of Sigmar came out, I have 7 armies now. Got into Omnibus 6 years ago, mostly stuff I missed that had great reviews. I also got into collecting action figures recently with Mafex: Batman, Superman, Spiderman and X-Men; SHF: movie Avengers and Mezco suited figures, and some random stuff from Figma, Neca, Super7, McFarlane toys and others...

I personally collect funko pops, they’re cheap (unless it’s a grail) and they capture the essence of the character. Plus, they display well when put together. Also been collecting figures (neca, marvel legends and McFarlane)

I've been buying & collecting records(vinyl) since 2012 & still going strong. I slowed down drastically buying video games(I have 14 consoles) & dvd/blu-ray movies. And I started dabbling back into buying wrestling figures again but only of wrestlers that I really like.

collecting in a way is like a passtime, filling a void type of thing. my comics collection is pretty legit. i been fousing more on house stuff and been huge into cooking and diet stuff lately. lots of meat / protein and low carbs /no sugar. fun cooking steaks, ribs, air fryer changes the game

I used to collect Funko Pop's then one day about two'ish years ago I woke up and realized it was a total waste. I sold my collection for a measley 5 grand even though it was valued at more than 20. I had to sell it quick. It was less about the money and more so about the pure disgust I felt about myself at the time. These days I now collect old silver coins Oh and Used condoms from D-list celebrities. I just recently was able to score a Corey Feldman!!!

I just started to collect omnis. I got my first one in august of 2023 and it was book of doom. Finished it the night I got it! I now have spider-man by michelinie mcfarlane, the batman adventures. Gonna pick up king in black, absolute carnage, and venom by Donny cates the second I get paid tomorrow haha. I know I’m triple dipping but I’m a fien for the whole story and tie-ins

been filling out my manga collection but found a x-men chris claremont jim lee marc sylvestri vol 1 omnibus used like new 50$ in my local bookman's(used bookstore), so obviously i had to buy a vol 2 too( won ebay auction 112.00 so got both for 162.00.
