This exam sucks. There's no way around it. No one comes out of the exam thinking they did amazing. Thanks for making this video it was really nice of you. I did ATI for my review and passed the NCLEX first time with 75 questions if anyone reads this and is looking for a solid review

Test anxiety is actually one of the biggest reasons that people fail. Most of those people, like you, know the content and are competent, but they are anxious during the test.

Thank you for making and sharing this video. There is so much comfort in knowing you're not alone. I took the NCLEX-RN exam last Friday and found out that I had failed.. one of the worst feelings when you think you've prepared well enough and then seeing your classmates passing and wondering where you went wrong, or like you said then having to share the news with your family. Hoping for better results the next time, but thank you again for sharing your tips and congratulations! There is also much comfort in knowing that it IS possible to overcome this!

I failed nclex the first time also. It was TOTALLY my fault though. I didn't study, put in the work and I really underestimated the test. I was so embarrassed that I failed, I wouldn't admit it right away. The second time I passed! I was doing flashcards of s/s of diseases and lab values, I read Saunders and I was doing questions from that book, Kaplan, downloading free apps after apps. I used alot of study aides, but it paid off

Thank you for posting this video. I just took my exam this past Saturday and found out today that I failed. Its devastating. But I know where I went wrong. My nerves just got the best of me. I studied lime a beast and was on overload with information. When I began the test, my mind went blank. The questions seemed so hard. I usually scored in the high 60's and mid 70's with my practice test. But again, just freaked out the day of the test and just lost it all. I am already preparing to take it a second time but will take a different approach. Art least I know what to expect so hopefully I will be more comfortable and prepared.

Thank you I was a Mississippi LPN and we did a lot in the nursing field so I did the ASN RN program and took the test with a (2) day testing with (5) test booklets. It was murder and now with a (6) hour exam on the net it should be a better way to test. Since I did the BSN & MSN on net. God be with all of you and thank you for sharing this video young man who have a kind and good spirit and YES pray I have did much of that daily to make it for we see a lot of sadness and hard things to accept.

Thanks for this video. I failed my exam last November and was devastating. I even took 3 months off from work and study 8-10 hours a day. I haven't schedule for my next exam yet because I'm back at work full time and I've been slacking. I just have no energy and have no motivation and I just have this constant fear I'm gonna fail again. I wish I can take some time off from work but it's gonna be impossible. But yeah you just have to keep on moving forward and stay focus in which I'm trying to do.
@AjayRNofficial9 жыл бұрын
giocurve You're welcome! I would suggest committing your time to studying and making it priority. Some people need 8-10 hours per day while others need less or more. It really depends on what you feel. If you feel you're not committing enough time then you are probably right.

I just failed the NCLEX and I feel completely devastated. I think I went into it overly confident too. I made Dean’s List and even made a 98 on my pediatric final. I really thought I had it and wasn’t too worried. Now I know that I have a lot of work to do. Hoping for the best second time around. Thanks for the video, it made me feel a lot better failing.

Thank you for your encouragement! I just found out that I failed, and it's certainly not a good feeling at all...but I'm aware of the fact that I should've studied MUCH harder, so I hope to do that and get my life back on track. I'm getting worried though because most of my friends had secured a job even before they graduated and passed their NCLEX. Was that the case for you, or did you apply for jobs AFTER passing your NCLEX? Most, if not, all of the new grad nurse residency positions have been taken in my area. I hope to retake and pass my test in late August. Do you think I'll be able to find a job that late?! I'd like to thank you in advance for reading this long post!
@AjayRNofficial8 жыл бұрын
No problem! Don't worry because I did not apply until I passed. People are still looking for nurses so you should not have a problem. It does help if you know someone. I know you can pass, just believe! :)

@AjayRN uurrrh kaplain and Saunders are no joke. They are really heard. I took my test yesterday and I am still waiting for my results. Its good to know someone else prays before their exam, and is strong in their faith. I just pray I passed the first time. I feel confident I did well but you know there is always a little doubt. I had a lot of select all that apply... anyway I like your attitude about the test. I will probably post if I passed or not, but anyway to all future nurses I hope you all pass the first time. Trust in Gods perfect plan.

I just started nursing school this week and I was looking for motivational videos like yours , I'm currently in the VN program at my community college and I feel it's overwhelming and I don't know where to begin to study lol. I have been working so hard to get this far by even getting in and now I'm here but I'm just not motivated as others now I guess because it's been forever that I have been in school. I just need help. I subscribed to you btw . Thanks

great to know you passed nclex on your 2nd time.. i came across to your video because my sister is feeling soooo down as she had just finished taking her 3rd exam and she told me that she has this feeling that she didnt make it again.. she went on leave from her work for a month just to prepare for the exam and she's feeling down because of the result (although official result's not yet out).. she said she took her time answering the questions and she reached until question number 160+.. i dont really know how to motivate her anymore.. and i cant blame here coz you know its her 3rd already.. plus i dont have a medical background so i cant help her as well.. any advice??
@AjayRNofficial8 жыл бұрын
+homie19jc I'd say show her this video because maybe she can relate to it. Otherwise give her support and let her know it's not the end of the world...it's only an exam at the end of the day. God bless
