This was all good advice. The shooting bag is a definite requirement for this kind of stuff. 20round mag tip is also a great piece of advice for 5.56 especially. With .308/6.5cm your equivalent would be a 10 round mag unfortunately. The 20 rounders are the same size or maybe even bigger than a 5.56 30rounder. At least with pmags.

Best thing to do is to go as minimal as possible with what you have and problem solve. Just enough of the necessities (2moa rifle, ammo, scope and dope) and then skill build before buying a bunch of gear.

We all want to win, but you need to be realistic about your capabilities. Here is a fact. If you don't go put in the work, you will never win. The way I look at it, every time I learn I win. There are always some great dudes at any kind of competitive shooting match that are happy to share their knowledge. Its also a great way of making friends that share your same interest. Iron sharpens iron. It can only make you better. You always grow when you are willing to get out of your comfort zone. Thank you, brother, for always sharing your hard earn practical knowledge that comes from experience. P.S. There is a time and place for everything. Be respectful of people and don't go up to them asking a bunch of questions when they are focused on their game.

Thanks for the video! Question on reticles. I've been eyeing the leupold 2-10, do you feel the mil hash reticle held you back in this competition setting? I've been torn on that vs going with a tree style like H59 to help with wind adjustment and not dialing as much, admittedly from reaserch rather than experience.
