Is there anything you can’t do with this setup that you can do with the lpvo/red dot combo?

Awesome set up man i love it, my 12.5 i built is similar. your can is better. Thank you for your video. These hard core 556 guys don't get it. but that just fine for me. i can hit it, they can't.

This video is about ten minutes too long. You could have said everything you said in half the words, and you still left out important stuff. Like, what power do you like for that longer range scope?

im currently building a 12.5 6 arc with the centurion stainless barrel, A5 h1, its crazy not too many people are experimenting with shorter 6arc builds. How do you like the centurion barrel, can we get an update on that? also have you tried the Geissele 6arc mags?

Best thing to do is to go as minimal as possible with what you have and problem solve. Just enough of the necessities (2moa rifle, ammo, scope and dope) and then skill build before buying a bunch of gear.

I recently purchased the PA GLX 1-10 LPVO. Wanted the 2.5-10 but out of stock. Omg the eyebox is extremely small. At all magnification levels.

Mark, your content is incredible and I appreciate you sharing it with us! I have been shooting the Razor Gen2 for 4 years now and put a high priority on 1x as the majority of my shooting is under 100yds. However, I am contemplating upgrading to the Gen3 after listing to your content on DMR matches. In your opinion, is the 1-10 a significant improvement over the Gen2? Does the 1x suffer compared to the 1-6? Thanks a ton man!
@jbstraininggroup36404 ай бұрын
For longer range stuff the 1-10 is significantly easier. The 1x is great on mine.

Why not just go with irons with a lower 1/3 cowitness ?.. That way your sight picture isn't too crowded. It's the same concept as having a red dot on your pistol. Better to have that than 2 optics that could give out from malfunction or batteries. I hated irons for the same reason, but I came back around for practical reasons. Right now I'm running a vortex uh1 with scalarworks peak sights at a lower 1/3 and I have no complaints. I can look over the sights and directly at the reticle or slightly nod my head and be in alignment with the irons. Even if you are looking through the irons, the rear sight is barely visible if you're focusing on the reticle.

Just bought the holosun le117 vis laser I’m use to understanding up close where my p.o.i up close would be but the green dot is the double check in the box .other then sighting and pointing It on target for worse case scenario that’s all. Its not going to do much other then that

A laser is used by S.W.A.T. when they wear gas masks,but they don't use a red laser they use green.

I had a Major breakthrough today with doubles. That firing hand tention has been screwing me for months with doubles. While exploring it again today, instead of any grip pressure with my firing hand, I just smashed the frame into my firing hand with my support hand. That's the ticket for me. Golfball size at 5 yards and baseball size at 7 and the dot was way more stable.

I’m around 20k rounds but the last 10k or so was on an M16. I should have used the Noveske CHF barrel instead of the stainless for that.

The older I get, the more I believe every rifle needs non battery operated sights. Regarding iron sights falling off, that's user error, unless they bought cheap sights. Remember, loctite needs you to use their primer since the metal has a coating. If loctite can't touch bare metal, it needs their primer. Or, you could switch to VC3 or nail polish. Vortex recommends nail polish.
