I said the same thing about a regular Delorean when I was your age (Im 36 now), at that time, just the car you can get for about 15k. Now for a crappy one, you'll pay about 35k (todays price). If you want a nice running one with no problems, about 50k. After Bob works his magic, you're looking at over 100k. I'm not sure where you live, but some places in America can have houses at that value. I'm not trying to burst your bubble and I really hope you get it, but please get yourself settled with a home and a daily driver before you get into this type of thing. I hope you see this, and I really hope your dreams come true to own this car. Good luck!! I'm rooting for you! Needless to say, I want one too! Check out Bobs other time machine videos.

Bob, I live in Brazil, I am 40 years old and I am in love with this film. It is part of my life, my story. I spent my youth watching, recording on VHS tapes on TV because there was no way to have an original VHS. I memorized several lines of the film. I grew up, but I never forgot about this film and lately, I have been getting more and more curious to know more and more about it. Today, I have DVD, Blu-ray, key chain, glasses, but my big dream is to have a time machine, a De Lorean, like the movie. I had seen your videos here on youtube years ago. I never really knew what my future would be like, but the only thing I ever imagined was having this car .... ps. I think the only chance would be with the sports almanac ... :(

I will offer that as an option, however we find that when the door triggers share the ground of the car you get noise from the alternator buzzing through the speakers. So we need to either have it's own trigger or maybe a wireless trigger system with a battery backup system. The factory Delorean door switches are very unreliable and have a tendency to set the sound off when you hit a bump. We need to get that figured out.

At 14:20... I am building a replica too (1/8 scale) and judging from reference pictures from the museum, I see a black rubber hose coming from the aluminium part of the "fire extingisher" behind the drivers seat. There is also a black cord running from that part ending in a red sphere. I have included both those details in my version of the model. How accurate are those? They DO appear on the museum model too?

I find what you do so fascinating. I have thought about making a spoof movie called "Not Another Time Travel Movie" that would use a DeLorean replica and a replica of the stationary machine from the movie "The Time Machine" and use both time machines to do time warps throughout the movie.

If I were for fortunate to come across a DMC-12 DeLorean in good condition that someone wanted to sell at a fair reasonable price, I would definitely buy it, take it off of their hands and convert it into my very own replica of the time machine down to the last detail. The only question that comes to mind is which year model would be the most accurate for the conversion build. 1981, 1982 or 1983?

I am buying one loaded as soon as I win the lottery and I'm serious no joke. When you buy a car for a customer do you do any upgrades or repairs that might be needed ? Plus do you replace warped panels like the front nose or repair dents and upholstery rips ?

He gained 100k subscribers with one of his channels, but instead of recieving a Playbutton with his name on it, he recieved a playbutton with "congrats to Videobob Moseley for 100k subscribers". So basically KZfaq sent him your playbutton by accident. Trymacs is the biggest Twitch-Streamer in Germany and a few weeks ago he had the most subs on twitch in the world.

I don't know if anyone has asked you but have you ever thought about or have built a Batmobile? Specifically the 89 Keaton car? If you've never built one would you be willing to? I love your collection and watching your movie builds and tours of the end build. Oh one more whats the switches for on the steering wheel? I don't think none of the films have ever mentioned the use of them.
